It was wonderful the visit through the wine making tour. And the wine tasted just perfect. It made a non alcoholic person started liking wine. :)
Beautiful event space for a beautiful bride and groom. The wine, brandy, sake and beer were all perfect. The setup of the tables were amazing felt like I was transported somewhere else’s.
Their port and blueberry wines are delicious! The staff was very friendly and informative as well. If this winery wasn't as far away we would have made more trips this summer.
Attentive and friendly, they cater to your questions and seem more interested in educating you than selling you. Very nice interior as well filled with wine barrels with high, industrial ceilings and walls. It may not be the most appropriate place for a date, but if you and a friend want to learn something new while tasting some delicious wine, this is the place for you.
Cannot say enough good things about WineWorks!! A month before my wedding, our original venue went out of business and I did what most brides would do...had a complete meltdown. Luckily, I found WineWorks and Kevin quickly responded. Within no time, my wedding was back on track.
From planning the decor to layout design, catering suggestions, and designing our drink menu, Kevin and his team were a huge help. What started out as a nightmare with our other venue, resulted in the happiest of endings. I am convinced that everything happens for a reason and eternally grateful we hosted our reception at WineWorks!
Our guests loved the atmosphere and had nothing but good things to say about our reception. If you're looking for a venue that takes the headache out of event planning, WineWorks is the place for you!
We went to the Dogpatch WineWorks as part of a Google event that taught us about blending and other facets of wine making. I found the WineWorks to be a great place to delve into the many different facets of a winery and the process that the wine goes through, from grapes to the final product. We were presented with the wine lesson from Stu who was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and personable, and a good time was had by all. In the event that I become interested in expanding my wine horizons, I would definitely use the WineWorks as a starting point.
This place is very cool. Not only can you taste wine, but pony up $3K+...and you can make your own barrel (or more!). Close to some nice places to eat and not far from the 22nd stop on Caltrain. Nice staff and very clean.
Charming location, great for events and wine tasting. Tom was an excellent host, very knowledgeable and accommodating. We couldn’t be more happy with how our event turned out!
You can make your own wine here. You have to purchase a full barrel and then they help you make it. They said it could take up to a year to make one barrel of wine, but what fun!
Attended an event here...awesome venue for events even a wedding! The wine was superb and ambiance was perfect. Would trek out to the dogpatch for this winery any day!
