Gallardos Mexican Food

Amazing food! I went on a busy Friday afternoon, but service was still prompt and organized. Feels like a great family restaurant, so definitely bring your loved ones with you. The food was fantastic—the best refried beans I've ever had! Both the quesadillas and the enchiladas were delicious. That was one of the best quesadillas I've ever had, genuinely.

Neighborhood gem with a homey atmosphere and obviously a lot of regulars, there was a big bowl of persimmons for anyone to grab that somebody brought from their tree! I got the spinach omelette which was wonderful. Eager to try the other dishes. Coffee was good too. They were slightly slow even though it was kind of empty, but it's a laid-back kind of place so it was hard to judge. Maybe I should be in less of a hurry 🙃

People are out here trying to compare Gallardo's to other Mexican eateries. Let me tell you something- Gallardo's is the GOAT 🐐 PERIOD. (Coincidentally, they do make really good birria, so try it, lol) I had not been here since 2015, when I lived back in the city. Do you know how hard it is to go back to a place and have the food taste EXACTLY the same? To stay consistent with service, quality, and vibes for that long! Every-single-item on the menu is delicious👌🏾, but my favorites are the pozole, torta de milanesa, and their fresh juices. To step into Gallardo's is to step into the microcosm of the city; working people picking up their food to go to work, families enjoying brunch, tourist trying to keep up with the locals and everyone under the same roof being extremely well-fed and cared for while they are there. Gallardo's doesn't care if you get it. They are going to wake up again tomorrow, grind, and put exactly the same quality meals and service they've been doing for this city for so many years. 👏🏾

I ordered the chilaquiles with red sauce It was pretty good service was great and atmosphere was cool. I definitely want to come back and try some other dishes we were on our way home and found this little old school authentic Mexican restaurant and had to try it. I do recommend it if you are in the area.

Solid place for Mexican food. The atmosphere is quite comfortable compared to other affordable Mexican restaurants. I like how fresh and clean the food here. I ordered quesadilla and it has the right amount of oil, cheese, and acidity from guac and sour cream. If you are craving Mexican food and want to sit and enjoy it comfortably, I recommend this place!

A unique Mexican dining experience. Gallardo's is set up like a classic American diner, but offers guests a wide selection of Mexican specialties. The service here is fantastic and it was part of what made me love this Gallardo's. The workers (and the food) here truly make it feel like you're dining in a families house. I highly recommend the pozole - it is the closest thing to my mom's pozole that I've had at a restaurant. The Mexican hot chocolate is also worth a try! Can't wait to go back.
