I'm sorry to report that the boats are still not floating. I hope they come back soon. Overall the sushi here is surprisingly good and the sushi boat size portions are incredibly cheap. They have massive beers for $6 too which is nice. It definitely gets a little more expensive if you buy the specialty rolls, but can be done very cheaply if that's what you're going for. Even though the sushi is good, there's a smell in the restaurant that kind of smells like pee. A little off-putting at first, but I powered through and was glad I did. I'll just be getting takeout next time I get my sushi from here.

What every family needs: an unpretentious spot for super-fresh sushi prepared expertly and promptly by friendly staff. Our family ordered takeout sushi, chicken teriyaki and tempura shrimp and veggies, and everything was top notch, at very non-SF prices! Grab a couple bottles of Moscato at TJ’s on the way back to your home or hotel, and you have an awesome meal. 30 minute street parking for takeout was abundant and easy.

It's a bit of a "hole in the wall" - but the sushi here is really good and they probably had the best gyoza I've ever had! I hope they get the sushi boats up-and-running again soon because that would have made this place near perfect

A bit too much rice on the salmon lover roll The Nigri had good proportion. Next time I'll probably just get that instead of rolls. Was disappointed that they don't have fatty tuna and no sushi boat (given COVID?) Bathroom wasn't very clean.

Prior to the COVID era this was our staple sushi boat place in the city. We look forward to the day when it returns. Til then you can still find reasonably priced well put together sushi and sashimi here.

Absolutely amazing. Lots of choices at really great prices. Everything we picked off of the boats was delicious and the options were rotated very frequently. We also ordered a chicken dish that was very good, it came with soup and a salad. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. This place must be popular because there was a line waiting out the door. Totally satisfied with our decision to stop at this location.

Lovely food and atmosphere, friendly staff and price is reasonable. Highly recommended!! Not sure how my blowfish friend is feeling. The fisherman has intentions.

I had a very good experience here. Although finding a parking spot was a challenge, the sushi definitely made up for it! There were a lot of sushi varieties, and the staff were nice and attentive. Unfortunately it was also a bit hard eating here as I would get slightly dizzy from looking at sushi rotating quickly. I did like the presentation of the sushi on the boat and would recommend it to those who like a more interactive way of eating sushi.

This is the greatest, awesome sushi place I've ever been to!!! It is fresh and the whole point is that the sushi is on a boat and you grab what you like! Really good rolls, although it is pricey!!!

Great little sushi place especially if you are in a hurry. The sushi just keeps coming out one boat after another. Tastes pretty good though some do look like they have gone by once too often. If you don’t want the sushi you can order some fried items as well. They have beer, wine and sodas too. A few tables but most seating is along the counter in front of the boats. If you have never been to this type of restaurant, what are you waiting for. Gotta try it at least once.
