Very tasty sweet empanadas- not to be confused with savory Spanish/mexican empanadas, these are similar to sweet bread and are a perfect desert. Super affordable too. They speak Spanish and English

Delicious sweet treats and breads. I highly recommend the quesadilla redonda- not to be confused with Mexican quesadillas, this is a traditional sweet bread from El Salvador, made with rice flour and light cheese (don’t really taste it), topped with sesame seeds. Similar to a pound cake. At $1.35, it’s a great deal. Always friendly service

Can't beat the low prices for some yummy baked goods.
UPDATE: I tried small vanilla loaf cake CALLED Tamilla de papas, it was fluffy moist inside a slightly crusted sugary top with a few plump raisins, the texture & the flavor was amazing!

I found this gem of a bakery going to the bus stop and I’m telling you, the pasties and tamales are so yummy, I keep going back for more. The bread pudding is really good.

Excellent pastries and Salvadorean treats, including tamales and a few other goodies. This bakery has a great variety of specialty breads such as quesadillas, peperechas, semita, and so on, and my favorite, relampagos.
