So in love with this place. Theirs handcrafted are amazing. Lovely and tasty desserts. Good ingredients and lot of love in details. Everything looks great. I would like to try all of them. Affogato is super cute. I’ll be back there real soon.

My visit to Sixth Course in San Francisco was a delightful experience, highlighted by their incredible Chocolate Choux tart. Great place for desserts. Lovely vibe and the comic sketches on one of their glass walls was soooooo COOL. We had the triple chocolate in a glass jar and will surely visit the place again when we are around!!

Found this little gem on a Google whim on my birthday trip to San Francisco. The confections are made from a creative blend of ingredients that leaves you wanting more. They also have sorbets. I hope the next time I visit they try using lavender in some of their confections. Definitely, a place to visit while in the City.

Pricey but each Chocalate, macaron, cake, and gelato made with incredible love and care. The flavor combinations are so yummy and unique. The fillings inside of the mousse cake are so delicious and go beyond the cake texture. Order: Couple of caramelized truffle chocalates. Churro Gelato was amazing! Lavender and sesame macaron. Mango and purple velvets mousse cake.

First time and very impressed. Small, unassuming and tucked away on 15th St., it's a nice surprise north of 16th bart. Fantastic 'Summer Blues' cake... light whipped cream, bursting berries and wonderful bite from the butter crust. I would place this on par to Craftsman and wolves and tartine, in terms of quality and presentation control. Folks who don't eat cake or tarts, can find sorbet and truffles.

An array of artisan, beautiful and scrumptious desserts. Gelato Panini is a must have! Also, try pairing the desserts with coffee and tea. This place can take you to the moon and back.

Gia’s energy is attentive, pleasant, and humble. I can taste the love for what they do at Sixth Course in each dessert I’ve purchased. Sixth Course is a warm and inviting place for me, my partner, and our loved ones to enjoy the best desserts we’ve ever had. They’re never too rich, always balanced, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients they use. Living in the city you can always expect to pay a little more for food and desserts but it’s not always worth it. However that is NOT the case here because these treats are worth every penny. This is my new favorite way to spoil myself. Thank you so much Gia and everyone at Sixth Course for your great work!! It’s not just the superlative desserts, it’s the way they treat people!! Coming back again tomorrow for round 3!!

Gelato recommend!!! Their gelato options are unique and tasty. Rest other moose cakes are great as well. Owner is also busy making them so may get slow service but she is so nice!

The Mother Earth was one of the most creative dishes I have come across and was perfect for Earth Day! Homemade gelatos amazing as well. Come in and get the Mother Earther while it's still in season.

For my first visit it was ok. But I’ll have to return to find something I want. Sixth Course is a small dessert cafe that features a dessert counter and a few seats. It’s not a cafe, nor a place to get anything savory. The shop offers 3 dessert cases. First is chocolates and macaroons, second is pastries, third is frozen gelato bars. The chocolates and macaroons did look good but nothing special. High quality chocolates are easy to find in San Francisco. The pastries were stunning to look at. Being a former pastry chef I appreciated the art. What I found annoying was the cost of each pastry was $14-16. And the size was designed for 2 (or one large appetite). These are the restaurant style deserts you no longer see in restaurants. Also the flavors were very polarizing (violet, walnut, etc). Nothing simple or that played on familiar tastes (butterscotch, salted caramel, citrus). What I wanted to see was a small tart, cake, cheesecake, etc. or about $8. FYI another place with similar high quality pastries is Craftsman and Wolves. The gelato bars were cute. I would have loved a scoop of gelato but that didn’t seem to be an option. Cookies, tarts, candies, espresso drinks, and scoopable gelato are all items missing that would help bring in customers. Sixth course reminds me of a place that belongs on Santana Row, for high brow clients to spend 10 minutes swooning over the name with the staff, 10 minutes asking what every ingredient to every pastry is, then to say there on a diet and walk away with nothing or one chocolate.

Magical desserts! So unique and creative, from truffles to macarons to popsicles and all kinds of cakes and things in between. All the desserts are small which is wonderful because you can easily share half a dozen little things without being overwhelmed by the sugar. So many creative flavor combinations!

These chocolates are so delicious. 🤩 I got the honey... lavender? and the sage .. basil? Not sure of the exact names. The flavors are creatively paired and work well together. The packaging is cute and sweetly prepared. Great gifts for your friends or for yourself. 😂 I've also tried one of the ice cream bars, fig mascarpone, and it was good too. For me, the chocolates are more satisfying than the ice cream bars.

This is what your life is missing! Amazing! One of the artist/owners Gia was working she was so sweet, down to earth and looked like a vintage doll. I would definitely recommend going here for a special and beautiful treat.

Dessert is its own course here, deserving the adoring attention paid by master chefs Gianina and Bridget. This is not a quick-cookie or rustic-mess experience. So many things to recommend! The most adorable presentations on the most creative desserts. Menu changes from week to week to pique the tastebuds. One week it might be something totally classic done perfectly, like a strawberry shortcake. Another week it might be something familiar made surprisingly delightful, like that s'mores pot de creme. Or it might be something inventive and unexpected - passionfruit or pink peppercorn... I've never had anything here that disappointed me. Note: if you're lactose intolerant and forgot your lactaid, they sometimes have a hazelnut gelato that's completely dairy free. And it is not to be missed.
