Fellas, you don’t know how good you have it. I’m from NYC and I am confident that this is a superior joint to anything I can find. The last time I had something this good was in Toronto almost a decade ago. The bun vermicelli was the perfect thickness, and the five spice chicken so juicy. And getting taro in a spring roll these days?? Jesus go support this place!

Excellent pho ga, shrimp rolls and great service; they'll happily accommodate any special vegetarian/vegan requests. Service might get slow when they're very busy in the evenings but the wait is worth it.

The last time we been here was about 3 years ago. The curry chicken noodles soup still taste excellent! Also spicy beef and ice coffee. Not the cleanest place but it's all about the food

I eat here on a regular basis. I have my favorites. The emperor rolls are crispy and delicious. The five spice chicken (I eat with the garlic noodle) is done to perfection. The chicken cabbage salad is the best anywhere. Staff is always friendly and happy to see us, it's nice to remembered and welcomed warmly.

Food was ok. Garlic noodles were a little too cooked for me. The pork had flavor but came out cold. The chicken was nice and cripy but lacked flavor.
Service was sit here, order, wait, food and bye

Have eaten here for 10+ years and always gotten the same thing. The #8 is the ultimate spicy /curry /chicken soup. The spring rolls and imperial rolls are legit but just a skosk too Caucasian to be for my liking… doesn’t mean I don’t order them for the wifey tho.
Shout out to Connie who’s an angel when it comes to entertaining my 5 year old and her fledging Mandarin skills.
Love this place like it’s an integral part of the city and hands down my fav noodle spot on the west side of town. Cheers

PPQ Noodle House is a hole in the wall Vietnamese noodle restaurant that has been serving up delicious dishes since 2007. The restaurant is located in the Outer Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco, and it is a popular spot for locals, folks coming out of the nearby bars and tourists alike.
While the menu is large, I usually go with either their Pho, Bun Bo Hue, or Oxtail noodle soup as they've never let me down and are both flavorful & filling.
If I'm extra hungry, I'll grab some crispy rice cakes or spring rolls to top off my stomach but their noodle bowls are typically substantial enough to not make that necessary.
Family owned and run, so I ask anyone reading this to please tip kindly as this is a neighborhood Gem that deserves to be supported.

I live a couple hours south and visit whenever I’m nearby. Although they offer many good dishes, the curry chicken pho is SO good I rarely get anything else. Once, I asked how they made their potatoes so delicious and they shared that they fry them before cooking them in the curry broth. Amazing! If I want to know my “fortune” I count how many potatoes I find in the broth ☺️
The chicken is ample and high quality breast meat. After a hundred visits, I daringly tried a different broth, satay instead of curry (all their phos can be modified with different broths). Yes, satay broth is very good, but it does not include potatoes. I’ll be sticking with the most excellent curry for my next hundred lunches.
Once, I was in San Francisco all day, had the pho for lunch and thought, “I can have anything at all I want for dinner. The city offers such variety.” After much thought, I realized that nothing could match repeating lunch. So twice that day.
I rated Service at 4 stars because it’s quite good, but want to save 5 stars for something extraordinary. Atmosphere is fine. I wouldn’t ask for anything else, but it’s simple and functional and comfortable. My 4 star rating is no complaint, just an acknowledgement that there’s nothing extraordinary about it. The bathroom is clean and, warning, the water can be very hot.

This is my all time favorite PHO spot in SF for a long time. They have the best crab meat noodle soup here which not using the ketchup to make the soup base. I always choose flat rice noodle which taste really good Fried tofu salad also has the right amount of the dressing to combine with peanuts as well. Simply the simple and good quality food. Five spice friend chicken with rice or garlic noodle are both good too. Satay beef pho it’s special not all the restaurants offer this. However, I took one star down because the restroom really need a renovation work. Overall service is good and good quality also decent too.
