The Pub

The pub is a great place with some awesome food. I had a burger with cheddar cheese, carmelized onions, and bacon. The bacon was probably the highlight of the burger. It's thick cut, and seasoned perfectly. The side of Mac and cheese personally wasn't my favorite, but the rest of my family enjoyed it, it's just more creamy than it is cheesy. The tater tots are delicious. I have a nut allergy and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable about their food. Overall I would recommend for a quick bite, and an escape from the tourist traps of the wharf and piers. They have seats out on the patio which have great views of the bay.

Perfectly located in a touristy area and beisde Gherideli square. Awesome hospitality. Really nice ambiance. Everything was so delicious! The portions are really big! If you order a BBQ plate it's enough for two people. The side of roasted brussel sprouts was hard to eat because they were not fully cooked.

Delicious meal, rivaled BBQ with a 3 hour line in Texas!! Atmosphere was very nice and our waitress was fantastic. We shared a 3 meat plate for two and still took home leftovers. Our meal was also less expensive than two gheridelli ice cream Sunday's. If you're in the neighborhood don't miss this place, share a meal and cut back on the ice cream and chocolate you won't regret it.

I got to say this place is so good! I had the pulled pork platter with jalapeno slaw and mac and cheese jalapeno slaw is a little spicy so if you don't like spiciness I don't recommend it, the mac and cheese was very delicious with a lot of sauce on top very well done. The only thing I was not too happy with was it tortilla soup, it was actually really Bland and it tasted burnt. But then they give us a side of chili to try and that was actually really delicious so I will go with the chili next.

Oh. My. God. I rarely fall in love with a restaurant, but The Pub, omg! I frequent Ghirardelli Square semi-often because our wine club #wattlecreek is upstairs. We now have a newborn baby, and had to use the elevator to goto Beach Street. I noticed a sign that said The Pub and had BBQ. I immediately asked the wife if we should have Valentine's dinner there. I don't know what to say, besides they need to advertise somehow in the upper levels. The food was that damn good. When I come back, I will definitely stop there. I pride myself on tasting anything meat related, I was just blown away. I think our servers name was Ashley, but I could be wrong. They were very accommodating with our large stroller. I cant say enough about the staff here. Food was out of this world great, staff was above and beyond friendly, and the prices may be pricey, but you know what? It the Wharf. All in all, I would come back again, and again, and again...
