Shrimp and pork dumplings(虾饺&烧卖)taste pretty decent. The crepe of the shrimp crepe (鲜虾肠)is pretty thick but the shrimps are nice. We also ordered a turnip cake which tasted oily. Both the turnip cake and the shrimp crepe came out cold :( otherwise the food here is better than what I expected.

For a hole in the wall .. great place for take out or sit down .. locals come around 10 Cuz that’s when the spare ribs over rice comes out ! Simply the best Har Gow & shrimp Cheung fun … why ? They’re generous with the shrimps .. a shrimp in every bite

We came here for lunch. We also had the sesame chicken. Sorry I didn’t get a picture. everything was amazing. The tea, the service was superb! I recommend 100% I wish I would have gotten our servers name he was amazing! I witnessed another customer being rude about some food , so I told him I would take it. He said he had already threw it away. I wanted to still pay for it. He cooked and brought me some and didn’t want to charge me. I tell you I don’t know what that customer’s problem was, but that was amazing!

The food is pretty good , they offer tea (this is common in all Chinatown) and you can pay by card. It’s not a fancy place but it’s full with locals and Chinese people so you know food is good.

Nice food. Chilli oil is good. Used to be cheap but Price increase quite a bit. Damn inflation. Very Friendly service. Chinatown neighbourhood place. Don't expect any fancy decor. Note to self for next time: Chilli oil is for sale at 7usd.

We visit this restaurant at least twice a week since we retired. It used to be my father's morning tea time place so he met us his friends. Lately, a couple of the new staff seem like day dreaming. We know the other lady that works there many years, she is the family member of the owner. We always like to see how this lady box up the rice bowl, just in seconds, her work efficiency is three time faster than the newer staff. We enjoy walking in there. Such a neighborhood eating place. We always bump into travelers on the street wonder where to eat, we suggest them to try out Do Ho, a place that local people would eat.

Another hidden gem that I came across deep into China Town in SF. The restaurant is small and outdated but don't be fooled. The food is outstanding! It is hard to communicate with someone but we managed by pointing to the items we wanted on the menu. I guess you can say it is very authentic since nobody speaks English, but honestly it did not bother us at all. The shrimp dumplings are delicious and the sticky pork ribs over rice is a must! The flavors are exquisite and your mouth keeps wanting more! The BBQ Pork Buns are incredibly moist and filled with flavor. The pork dumplings are filled generously with meat and don't lack a thing. This was a place that made us feel we were not in SF but enjoying Authentic Dim Sum. I cannot fathom how much we enjoyed the food and look forward to returning!

Nostalgia with traditional Cantonese Hong Kong atmosphere restaurant. 90% customers are seniors. Popular dish is mini-clay pot rice with pork ribs.

One of the best place to have Yam Cha. Food has remained unchanged since they've opened 30 years ago and the quality of the service is outstanding. The simplicity of the way they take care of their business and customers should be a standard for all business. They don't overcharge you because you are a tourist They're not judgemental or prejudice base on the color of your skin They don't chase you for tips. They thank you for you coming in with sincerity. My family has been coming here. My parents brought me here, and now I'm bringing my kids here every Sunday as well. Some of the recommendations are the Beef ball(don't add steak sauce), Ha Gao[shrimp dumpling] and You definitely MUST try their chicken feet. Either the beef or shrimp Cheong Fan is amazing. Just get both, and the best of all the Spareribs over rice. Whether you are a tourist or a local, you must try the spareribs over rice. The chicken over rice is meh. And all these food I've mentioned above is going to run less than $30 - that can already feed more than 3 people.

I would normally give this restaurant three stars because I was treated a little differently from all the other customers being Caucasian vs. Chinese; they didn't bring the cart to me and only brought to my tablet hose dim sum items I think they thought I would want to eat. I got a little look of surprise when I ask for the chicken feet. However the incredible taste of the food, especially the awesome container of house made chili oil on the table, necessitated me giving this little restaurant four stars. Remember to bring CASH as they don't take credit cards!
