Dol Ho

We visit this restaurant at least twice a week since we retired. It used to be my father's morning tea time place so he met us his friends. Lately, a couple of the new staff seem like day dreaming. We know the other lady that works there many years, she is the family member of the owner. We always like to see how this lady box up the rice bowl, just in seconds, her work efficiency is three time faster than the newer staff. We enjoy walking in there. Such a neighborhood eating place. We always bump into travelers on the street wonder where to eat, we suggest them to try out Do Ho, a place that local people would eat.

We came here for lunch. We also had the sesame chicken. Sorry I didn’t get a picture. everything was amazing. The tea, the service was superb! I recommend 100% I wish I would have gotten our servers name he was amazing! I witnessed another customer being rude about some food , so I told him I would take it. He said he had already threw it away. I wanted to still pay for it. He cooked and brought me some and didn’t want to charge me. I tell you I don’t know what that customer’s problem was, but that was amazing!

Average selection of dim sum dishes. Tasty and reasonably priced. Recommend the steamed rice dishes (pork ribs, chicken on rice, etc). Freshly prepared dishes constantly come out of the kitchen. The chilli sauce is great! Not the cleanest of places. (Hence the rating of less than 5 stars). Be prepared to share the table with strangers when the restaurant is crowded. Credit card is only accepted if bill exceed $10.
