Excellent egg custard 🍮. Well known in San Francisco Chinatown. You have to try it 😃. Not a good process to pay therefore long lines 😕

Classic Chinatown bakery with all the usuals. It's quite small inside with boxes everywhere but hey, it's Chinatown! I got their cheese and mushroom bun and also their sponge cake. The sponge cake was SO nostalgic. So soft, perfectly sweet. The mushroom/cheese bun was interesting, a bit too greasy for me. But overall, great food for a great price. Would recommend!

Amazing value for Asian pastries!! I decided to cater for one of my work events and for 70 people we spent ~200. Each pastry ranges between $2-$3 and they are good size. My favorite were the sausage bun and melon bun. The pork floss wasn’t my favorite but some people really liked it. Check them out if you are in SF’s Chinatown!

Fresh-out-of-the-oven sweet and savory pastries and breads, including my favorites: black sesame, green tea, green onion, and shredded pork. Because there is one superhuman women doing everything — taking orders, answering the phone, pulling trays out of the back, restocking the shelves — there will likely be a line. It may, or may not move quickly. Be patient. Prices are reasonable, worth a special trip to Chinatown! (the trip is around 5 minutes by taxi from the Ferry building, or 12 minutes by bus.) Pick up some bulk leaf tea or boba tea ☕️🧋while you’re in the ‘hood — choices, abound, with tea shops about every 20 m 🤓

Savory or sweet -the buns were delicious. Very small shop. Essentially you wait in line, you order, you leave.

First time trying egg white egg tarts and we're now big fans! Soft, flaky buttery crust and a smooth custard!

I came here for pineapple bun (the non-custard) version and I got exactly it. The prices was like 1.50 * 12 or 18 bucks I think which I think is fine for how nice the breads were. Ok, so the bread is like mildly sweet which is how I like it with the topping not too crumbly but sticky enough that you get the full flavor. Honestly, my top choice for pineapple buns without custard inside. I tried a pork bun but I thought it was a bit too sweet for my liking? It's both somewhat sweet and really savory which is jarring to me but still good overall. I also got a pan loaf bread (with some raisins) which was pretty good. Not much to talk about since it's a loaf of bread.

Hot, fresh and tasty breads/pastry. Lot of choices and reasonably priced. It’s small inside so it can get congested. Overall worth a try!

This is an honest review. After browsing several places for a birthday cake, I found this small and tiny bakery in Chinatown. I ordered a Durian cake for my bf's birthday, and the taste is surprisingly better than I was expecting. The best rate here on Google Maps doesn't lie. Abt the cake, actually there's real durian inside (not just a flavored cream). The texture is soft as japanese cakes but not too soft, accommodating perfectly the durian and cream. The buttercream is not too sweat, and the flavors match perfectly. My Singaporean and Malaysian friends would definitely approve.

Affordable and decent-quality Chinese bakeries. I tasted an egg tart and it was good: jiggling at the center and right amount of flavor. The chocolate lava cake is too sweet for my taste though. Other breads look appetizing. Would like to come back to try more things.
