I love this tiny delicious place. I found it when I attended the San Francisco Paramedic Association that used to be on Mission. The gyros and fries are amazing. I dont get to the city often as of late but Im so glad Ayola survived through the pandemic. So good!

Great place for quick and fresh lunch. My favorite is the Corfu salad with falafel. Fresh veggies, crispy falafel, and good dressing. And for the after lunch sweet tooth, the baklava is perfect! Friendly staff and Quick with getting the orders out. It’s a small space with only 3-4 bar stools by the window. Better suited for takeaway.

I had the large gyro. It was delicious, especially with the garlic sauce. The service was very friendly and welcoming. There are a couple of tables if you want to eat in.

Really nice employee at the front counter. Very helpful. We had the falafel and eggplant pitas. Really tasty, but grab some extra napkins because they are stuffed full. We ordered the 7-in (smallest) and I couldn't finish mine because it was so loaded. The hot sauce is really flavorful and the fries are super crispy. Delicious!

I have no complaints whatsoever. Went with the Gyro Wrap, large, and a side of fries. The wrap itself was exactly what you'd expect, and I added in some of their hot sauce for good measure. Excellent choice if I do say so myself. However, the fries were easily the best part. They are must have and are willing to go there just for the fries.

I needed a quick meal before a meeting and this was the perfect place to grab one. Cheap, fast, easy, and good. I got a gyro and it was pretty filling. The gyro was really good and tender, the veggies were pretty fresh and the pita was good. I'm not a fan of tiziki sauce, so I had them put just a little bit. Even with just a little the gyro was full of flavor. They also have hot sauce too. That is really good, but grab a cup of water because it's on the spicy side. Overall, it was a delicious quick meal.

I liked this place. It was quick, cheap and it hit the spot. I don't think it was the "best" greek food that I have ever had, but it was pretty damn good for the price and convenience. I ordered a gyro wrap and fries while attending a conference and it was just what I expected/wanted. I was even able to order ahead so that I could have time to eat during our lunch break. I would definitely go here again and I would totally recommend this place if you're looking for a quick bite.

Just tried this place out for delivery. It is what I was looking for exactly. No idea, somehow that day I was just thinking about gyros. Decided to look around on Google (and even Reddit), and decided that it seemed Ayola would be the place to satisfy my gyros craving. Tried their chicken gyros, chicken shawarma, and lamb & beef gyros. Surprisingly, the chicken gyros was the most tastiest / flavourful one. I was expecting the lamb & beef gyros would be the one. It's a nice surprise. Definitely will come back again for the chicken gyros if I somehow crave some gyros!

It can get really busy in there but they are quick to get food out. Nice central location. I love how their wraps are inside actual pita bread. It is so thick and soft. I normally go with the chicken wrap. Sometimes comes with too much lettuce where it is all falling out and makes it really messy.

best lunch pace in the financial neighborhood. The service is fast and the gyros are top quality. I probably go to this place like 2 times a week. Their house sauce is excellent and non other gyro place serves that. I have actually bought their house sauce and use it at home when i make wraps or gyros at home. you gotta try the chicken gyro once in you life

YUM! This is one of my favorite places to get lunch when I go into the office! As a matter of fact, I sometimes think about going into the office just so I can treat myself to a gyro bowl or salad 😊

y review is short and to the point... I never really liked gyros before. I mean I would get them once in awhile but I never had the urge to buy them on a regular basis. However, after getting a gyro from Ayola, I know understand how a gyro is SUPPOSED to taste and I freaking love 'em. I would especially encourage my co-workers to go check this place out if you haven't yet.

It's possible I will never quit my job just so that I can continue to eat here for lunch once a week. The efficiency of the staff is astounding and appreciated, especially given their popularity. I've had everything from the gyros to the salads and occasionally just a combo of dips. The perfect place to grab a quick noontime meal.

I pretty much only get the combo platter here because you get a little bit of everything, and everything is good! The falafel is crispy and flavorful, hummus is nice and thick, and the baba ganoush is smoky and smooth. Don't miss the hot sauce by the napkins and utensils - I have no idea what is in it, but it is amazing. The people are very friendly, service is quick, and portions are generous.

It was definitely a tasty chicken gyro. It would be nice if it wasn't such a small space with nowhere to sit and enjoy your meal. You definitely want to plan to take it back to the office. Next time I may try to get a side as well. I felt a little rushed to get my order in because they are so popular and I didn't want to hold up the line.
