Really loved this little place. Friendly staff, quick service, good food. It’s a little loud for my taste and cramped but that’s the aesthetic nowadays. They have a combo meal special that’s great for two people. It’s an app or salad, a choice of pasta, a small pizza, and choice of dessert. That’s what we got. A lot of their dishes sound great so we asked our waiter for recommendations and ordered what he recommended. It was all great. The pink onion salad was flavorful and fresh. The vodka pasta was rich and deep. It was probably more salty than intended but just slightly oversalted. The hot salami pizza was nicely done. Their crust is great and toppings were high quality. They didn’t bat an eye at a small substitution we asked for. And the tiramisu we had for dessert was really light and airy. Really great experience here. Highly recommended!

Overall: Best pizza spot in SF hands down. Definitely making it my cheat meal go to place! -One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in general, was No 13. the one with the caramelized onions and substitute mushroom with pepperoni. Very rich in flavors and more than enough for one person! -Great taste but don’t expect to diet there. Thats definitely in the cheat meal category and it’s def worth it! -I literally pulled up my phone and timed them. We had the pasta served in less than 10 minutes from the time that we ordered it, and the pizza in less than 15! -Nice and polite staff always willing to help. -Great music. -Kinda small place. -Very fair prices!

Pleasantly surprised by the taste and abundance. The pizza dough is also great at this very affordable Italian restaurant. Free wine was high quality as well. So good that we ate everything and left no evidence.

Worth the wait! Rsvp ahead of time is best! The combo is a great deal! Wednesday, they throw in a free bottle a wine. We ate the Parma E Burrata plate for our app, the Pasta Tartufo, the #8 Tyson Punchout Pizza, and Tiramisu. Food is insanely delicious. Great vibes, good music, 11/10 service.

We showed up at 850pm on Wine Wednesday (close @10). Super busy, however the staff was so inviting, accommodating, and hilarious. The entire meal came out efficiently and we never felt rushed to move on. Super delicious, can’t wait to try more things on the menu. As we were leaving, a couple came late for their 9:45 reservation (9:55pm) and the staff graciously still took them in, 5 minutes to closing! Hats off to them, mad respect. Oh, and 4 courses (salad or appetizers + pasta + pizza + bottle of wine) for $55. Can’t beat that in the city!

We stumbled upon the most delicious pizza we’ve ever had and I can’t say enough good things about it. We had the combo which includes an appetizer, pasta, pizza and a dessert to share. We chose the Side meatballs appetizer, Rigatoni vodka pasta, #22 IKE pizza and the Basque cheesecake. Every single dish was absolutely on point. There is a reason this place is so busy! I will say if you are in a rush order ahead, but if you wish to dine in, make a reservation because this place is well loved and now I know why. Do yourself a flavor and try their amazing Italian dishes!

Discovering this restaurant in my neighborhood was a delightful surprise! Arriving on a bustling Friday evening, it was clear that the social media hype had attracted more customers than expected, making the place quite crowded. The staff did their best to keep up with the demand in the small space. Despite the wait of about an hour, my husband and I were eventually seated at a cozy table for two. The moment we sat down, we were served ciabatta with olive oil, which was a welcomed appetizer after the long wait. We opted for the Magic Mushroom pizza and the Giovanni Special, and they were simply amazing! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the crust was divine. A solid 10/10! Im a big fan of a Basque cheesecake and after spotting it in the menu we couldn’t leave without trying it. The cheesecake had super creamy and rich texture. I absolutely loved it! Overall, Pink Onion exceeded my expectations. Despite the initial wait and the limited space, the food was truly exceptional.

We tried the combo option which is a very well reasonably priced. It's a lot of food but manageable if it's 3 or 4 of you. The cheese pizza was a good. I give it 7/10 because I like a thin crust although it was charred and baked well. The pesto pasta was very rich with thick sauce but not oily at all and I liked it very much. The burrata salad was good and the tiramisu was fresh and good. The place it small so make sure to make a a reservation beforehand. I will go back again to try other pasta dishes, the burrata bowl, and other pizzas.

**I came on a Wednesday when they have a special deal and they are packed to the rafters. The food was incredible. I would recommend anyone to come here. If you do come on a Wednesday, you have to be on your feet to make sure other people with reservations don't take your place in line. The servers were fun and social but definitely overworked. They know it though, and will offer free wine while you wait. They ran out of forks near the end, lol. The gnocchi was incredible, and mussels were mind-blowing. Even though I was stuffed, every time they brought out food for our neighbors, we were hungry all over again. Eat here if you're ready for the rush.
