IPOT is such a cute restaurant. Loved their variety of options in their menu. The soups were amazing and the chicken, spam, ramen were phenomenal. Loved the lamb skewers food and the fried chicken. You have a time limit for all you can eat and we also got a holiday season discount of $13. One of the better hot spots places in this neighborhood!

Update 3/17/23 Ordering is easy since it's all via QR code. You get a limited amount of items every 15 minutes. We ended up doing both bbq and hot pot since there was 6 of us at the table. The round tables are a little inconvenient since the pot is a little far to one side, but that's the same with the bbq. We had to stand up to cook/grab food, but that wasn't too much of a hassle. ------ One of the better AYCE hot pot places. The price is GOOD and the menu is extensive. From BBQ items to dim sum, this place has a great range of food items. The make your own sauce station is great!! Also, it's open late!

So what can I say about IPOT. It was different for me having to cook your own food. I enjoyed the experience, the food was good, the sauce bar had a lot of different sauces that I had no clue about and the restaurant it self was very clean. If you are with a BIG CROWD, be ready to use one phone to order everyone food and they do not separate the check. Oh if there is food left over you will have to pay an extra $20 wasting food fee person. Parking was ok just be ready to walk and make sure you make reservations. We did not have one but they were nice enough to accommodate us. I would have given them five stars but they do not explain mush to people who have never been there.

The Food Hot pot restaurants are abundant in the area, but few are unique. IPOT seems to have brought a slight twist to create a different experience. IPOT has 3 pot types, the BBQ Pot, the Regular Pot, and the Chafing (split) Pot. My friend and I got the half grill, half soup BBQ pot, and the Regular Pot. We choose Salty Pork Bone w/ Winter Melon and Chinese Herb respectively for the soup base. For the meat, lamb and beef was the popular choice with a bit of pork. I got their BiangBiang Noodle because it seemed to be a must order. We also got a lot of miscellaneous selections from their menu along with some small dishes. The meat was very good, as well as the other ingredients, with good variety. They also have quite the selection for their sauce bar. I would return to this again if I get another hot pot craving. The Miscellaneous Despite the restaurant being quite big with a good amount of seating, there are long waits at peak hour. But the good thing is they do have a Yelp waitlist, so you can join the line via mobile. The service can slow down during peak hour with limited staff, but the service and staff was not bad. A good variety of selection on their menu for soup, ingredients, appetizers, drinks, and so on. It is not the most expensive hot pot restaurant, but is also not the cheapest. But with the quality and selection, it is a good place to experience.

All-you-can-eat chinese hotpot with a dim sum menu and BBQ. Happy Chinese New Year!! Some highlights at IPOT (SF): • Fun all-you-can-eat hotpot • Grill for BBQ • Dim sum menu! Chinese crispy pancakes (煎饼果子) 🥺, Xiao Long Bao (小笼包), Steamed and Deep-Fried Mini Bun (金银馒头), and more This restaurant is pretty spacious as well. Would recommend it!

Pretty solid spot for hotpot. You can also ask for a grill in addition to the hotpot. The meat select was good and the quality was definitely very worth it for the price (~$33.95) We had the pork bone soup and the spicy Sichuan soup. I really liked the pork bone soup but the spicy sichuan soup could be overpowering for some people (still went pretty well with the lamb though) On top of that, the service was amazing. All the staff were very attentive.

This is my favorite hot pot place in SF!! Staffs are super friendly and working hard. Food is super delicious!! I love individual pots so I never have to fight over what soup I can have. They have cooked tasty kalbi. Unlike some all you can bbq, it is literally all you can eat kalbi. I love their fresh noodles and all the goodies on their menu. I love it how they have variety choices of meat, veggies and seafood. I am so glad they close late. Their kitchen closes at 10pm but they let us eat until 11 without any rush.

There were a line before the opening. This place is pretty crowded. Good sauce station. Get the beef. Pork belly was a bit tough. Spicy Tom yum was a bit blend, it was more of a sour taste than spice. Mushroom broth started blend but then became quite sweet and intense umami flavor. Service was fast. They get us strawberry and green tea ice cream. Get the strawberry. Green tea is not matcha flavor as I expected. Overall, nice place to spend rainy and windy evening in SF.
