one of my favorite places in the city to get a light meal. everything is so fresh and even using only a few ingredients, flavors were complex and balanced. the interior of this place is also cute, lots of seating. salmon scandwich: fresh and high quality ingredients but wasn’t a big fan of the bread they used cardamom bun: tasty and big portions but la cabra in nyc is better

I keep loving this place. Their savory porridge breakfast is phenomenal, and their coffee is great. I haven’t explored their pastries, but they sure do look delicious!

I definitely recommend stopping in here for brunch! It's a pretty unique experience since SF has relatively few Scandinavian restaurants relative to other cuisines. I like to get one or two fresh pastries plus the brunch Board and share with one or two other people so we all get to try a lot of things. There's usually quite a line, but most good brunch in San Francisco requires standing in line :) It is a very causal vibe, and open seating, so you might share a communal table in order to be seated more quickly.

Got the salad it was delicious, beets, seeds, dressing was all excellent. Egg sandwich with their bread was great. Cardamom roll pastry was ok, too much Cardamom and the pastry was slightly on the soggy side. Atmosphere is a little unkept but not so bad.

Great vibes. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. I was served food and drinks despite coming in 10 minutes before closing on a Sunday and allowed to stay later to finish my meal peacefully while the staff cleaned up around me. Definitely want to become a regular around here. The pastries are quite unique (not quite as good as Asian pastries tbh but still quite nice). Menu looks really appetizing so I want to check all those out too. Thanks!

Quick service and delicious food. I was really pleasantly surprised by my kale and barley salad. The dressing was so good! Some of the sandwiches are kind of small though for the price. You order first and then seat yourself, so it can sometimes take a while on a crowded morning but it’s kind of random, sometimes there’s plenty of seating. Good indoor/outdoor options. They got rid of their boards which is definitely a huge devastation per my sister lol. But still not a deterrent from going there!

The trout bowl is so delicious. All ingredients are very fresh and it feels like a unique experience to eat here. It was very full on the weekend, but on the weekdays it’s very quiet.

We wanted to experience Scandinavian breakfast, and everyone was very satisfied and impressed. Excellent food, very fresh ingredients, good service. Interior is Scandinavian minimalist style as you would expect and a part of the experience. (I say this as someone who is not a big fan of minimalism, but I respect it. Just not my thing.) So five stars for atmosphere, too.

One of the best brunch places in S.F.! From the ambience, to the fresh orange juice, the insanely good latte and almost every item on the board (the runny egg was not runny). They were very late in getting us our items, but they were apologetic and gave us pastry for free. The cinnamon knot was probably the best I’ve had! Note that it gets super busy so you might have to share a table with others for a while (sitting is DIY). Tip: the 7 item board comfortably fed two of us. Next time I’m trying the ham and egg - looked delicious. Only other place that I still rank just a bit more highly is Plain Jain. Great for a brunch date!

Everything we tried was delicious. Option to choose/customize several items for the brunch board is so fun. The ham and cheese sandwich was recommended by one of the staff, huge portion, very crispy croissant like bread with assorted seeds on the outside. Flaky and delicious! Grilled cheese and tomato soup was a smaller portion but I really enjoyed it! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Self serve water and utensils.
