Went to A16 for lunch today and it was top tier. Our waiter was super cool and helpful. We ordered the Heirloom tomato caprese salad and the mushroom pizza. Completely blown away by the pizza! The combo of the cheese, mushrooms, crust and olive oil really elevated the experience. Definitely understand why they got a Michelin star for the pizza alone. I will for sure head back soon.

Third visit and first time meeting the owner. What she doesn’t know about Southern Italian wine is probably not worth knowing. Very unassuming and warm lady - which matches the unpretentious restaurant. Sure, I’ve had some better Italian dishes, but it has the whole package here - great food, wine, service and atmosphere. Pizzas were a standout, as was the Berkshire pork.

Great good, amazing ambiance and service is amazing! Everything we ordered was good except the pasta. Desert is a must try! Order all the deserts on the menu if you can 😂

Found this place using the Michelin guide. It was a very good Neapolitan pizza joint with a cool atmosphere. Nothing I had was particularly mind blowing but definitely good quality food for the price. The ambiance made for a nice evening out. Only complaint is that in true Italian fashion, it took forever to get the check and we were getting quite antsy to continue our other evening plans.

Food was excellent. Wish they had hard liquor. We sat in the back and were soaking wet in sweat. It was so hot. No ventilation

Incredible little spot in San Fransico. If you are craving Italian, check this place out! The very first time I ever had burrata cheese was here...it was so good. The pizza was also so yummy. The interior was beautiful. If you are ever in SF, you must check it out!

After trying 55 places since May 2022, A16 is a top shelf Pizzeria. Easily one of the Best in the City from a legit real pizza perspective. After 55 places since May, A16 is in the upper range of Pizza that only 5-6 other places of said 55 can relate to. And pretty much the 4 of those 5-6 are the Gods of San Francisco Pizza. These truths proven by trying their Pizza and experiencing it on your tongue are self evident. And yeah, this is for the cheese not even the Margherita yet. Based off how well done the cheese is, I bet a lot of stuff here is good.

Outstanding pizza in a cool space. Sat at the chef’s bar so had a great view of chef working magic with the wood fired oven.

This is a cute, intimate location, I would call it borderline trendy although it seems to be family owned and operated with an owner who has a great deal of knowledge in the Italian vineyard industry. The pasta is delicious and made in house, you can actually tell because I generally have gluten issues, and the truth of the matter. I didn't even feel bloated afterwards. Which I think isn't a testament to freshly made pasta. The portions are slightly larger than you would expect. And the pairings were perfect even with my mocktail. They don't have an overly large menu which makes it wonderful to choose without choice anxiety coming into play 😂 and although I did not try any desserts, the menu did look delectable. The price point is San Francisco status, typical to its area. Not overly expensive, considering. Overall a very charmed experience.

I was a bit hesitant to try this restaurant as I prefer basic Italian food like spaghetti and meatballs. After ordering a dish I had never tried before I was surprised at how delicious it was. Had pasta with lamb sausage... Wonderful! Will definitely go again next we are in San Francisco.
