Cool spot to come solo or with friends. Bartender was nice and was able to make changes to drinks. Not enough of a variety of food options for me, but the cod and the flatbread were delicious!
Wandered in randomly off the street on a slower Sunday night. The host was super friendly and welcoming and immediately set a positive tone.
The food was surprisingly delicious at every turn. We had oysters and flatbread to start, and both had unique and delicious twists on them that we'd not experienced before. For our meals we had the salmon and the pork tenderloin skewers and were impressed with the flavor and presentation on both. For desert we had the cobbler and a cup of french presses coffee.
Service was attentive, atmosphere was nice, and the food was fantastic. We left pleased and impressed, and already planning our next visit.
Oh my God. This place is amazing. Most definitely look forward to visiting this place more often.
Pros- customer service is on point, service was quick, staff came by often to wipe down the table in between starters, dinner, and dessert, food was amazing, and music and ambiance was amazing.
Cons- parking is hard but worth it, and my peach cobbler didn't meet my expectations but overall experience still deserves 5 stars.
Love this place.
Will recommend this place.
My Husband and I will be here more often.
What a lovely surprise this resto turned out to be. My group and I were originally targeting our Friday night dinner at good good culture club but they told us that it'd be a 3 hour wait so we ended up walking along Valencia and good thing Luna had a table for us.
Knowing how amazing the dishes were at Luna kinda makes me hesitant to rave all about it and post this review because I'm afraid it'll get so much hype that dining there will be impossible in the future. But I wanna give credit where credit is due and say that it would be wrong to sleep on this place. Our server Daniel has been nothing but accommodating and approachable and explained all the dishes in a way that made us want to order everything on the menu. Highlights were the buffalo cauliflower, the lamb burger, and the really creative cocktails!!
I came here the first week they opened and thought maybe I’d let somethings slide. I came for a second time last week. I’m happy to have made it for their new cocktail “oh my gato.” The other cocktails we had were nothing I’d come back for. I appreciate that “mother knows best” benefits a local community organization. Every entrees we’ve had here has been great. I was not a huge fan of the appetizers including bone marrow and oysters
Happy to have Luna here on Valencia! Lovely addition to the neighborhood. Food is good, the steak frites had an interesting twist and meat is great. We also liked the mushrooms and sesame cucumber salad. Personally I was less impressed by the cocktails (did not like the Gimme A Beet, Oh My Gato was ok).
Great new place! Creative twists on some classic dishes. Luna is novel and did everything well, delighting from the first cocktail through dessert. I am excited to go back and try their brunch.
Some standouts were the pork chop, broccolini stromboli, fried burrata, and the apple pie. I don't think you can go wrong on what you pick.
Delicious food, lovely people, great service, and wonderful ambiance! Perfect for girls brunch and date night! Can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu! ✨️
Friendly service and upscale ambiance.
Contemporary yet comforting American dishes.
Their pork loin dish was cooked juicy and very tasty along with the mashed potatoes
Went to Luna with some friends and it did not disappoint. The service was great as well as the drinks. We ordered oysters and the bread to start which were both delicious. The Koji chicken was our favorite, and the smash burger was also very good. Waitress was knowledgeable and very nice. Will be coming back here again for sure. Seemed like a great casual dinner spot but also fancy enough for date night
