I loved the food here! We regularly order food from here on GrubHub, but decided to come to the restaurant today. I'm not too satisfied with the atmosphere though, it was very bright but the food totally made up for it. Highly recommend for a casual dinner out. A little expensive, it was ~$100 for 2 people but I wouldn't be too bothered by it. The food was awesome.

Well, this is one of the best sushi places I have ever been. It is not too fancy which makes it more affordable. You feel that you are in the correct place when you step in. Very fresh and delicious. They are very humble, I love the atmosphere.

The older gentleman that brought our meal was so courteous. He bowed down after placing the meal on the table and said enjoy. I ordered the black garlic ramen and it was so flavorful! Upon leaving the restaurant, I accidentally forgot my AirPods and the lady server was kept it secure until I came back to pick up. Very kind gesture!

We came in during the dinner rush and were sat in the back. Much more quiet than the front.
The service was great and they were very attentive. The food, AMAZING! The ramen portions were huge and had so much flavor! We had medium spicy and it was perfect. The people complaining obviously have no culture appropriation. Some of the best Japanese food i have ever tasted. We also ordered appetizers and they were hot a fresh with loads of flavor. The bill was $100 for three of us with 2-3 appetizers. Which is expected in a big city. Even better it was located right across the street.
10/10 recommend for authentic Japanese food.

The food was really really good. The portions were very generous and I thought the prize was adequate. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because of the staff. The guy that took our order was cold and he was talking on the phone while doing it. Not really nice.

We have travelled to San Francisco many times and we have visited various restaurants until we discovered Kui Shin Bo on this trip. We loved it so much that we were there practically every day, either for brunch, lunch or dinner. The food menu is exhaustive and the staff is extremely friendly, accommodating and hospitable. They have an innovative sushi/maki menu designed by their chef/owner. Just amazing!

Came in with my family for a dinner we’ll never forget! The food was absolutely amazing. Sushi was divine, and this spicy curry beef was the beef of my wettest dreams! Super flavorful, super tender. It tasted like great quality and pride was put into these dishes, and I’ll be back next time I visit San Fransisco!

This place is amazing!!!!!! The food is excellent!!! The ramen and the sushi are so incredible😍 This was the first time I had ramen 🍜 and boy me I'm glad I stopped here to try it. Best choice I have done this trip. I 100% recommend this place. It's a must-try when in San Francisco. This is one of the best Japanese food restaurants in the city!

if ur looking for a place to eat look no further! this place has high quality food for the price. I got the the teriyaki steak plate, you can definitely tell they use great meat. the staff goes beyond expectations. we had ordered the tempura banana with ice cream. instead of telling us they were all out of bananas the server left the store & went to go get some. wow now that's what u call amazing service.

The service was good and the food was amazing! The Niku Udon was so full of flavor and the beef just melts in your mouth. We also got a side of chicken gyoza and that was really good as well!

Authentic japanese fare! I thought their soba and tempura was quite like the bowls I had in japan. I'm not sure what percentage buckwheat they are (probably not juwari), but they felt up there!
Some shichimi in the soba went really well. They have a massive sushi menu, ramen and okonomiyaki, the last of which is hard to find. I think I'll be walking to here a fair bit the next year or so to try them all out.

Unassuming little shop, we got veggie ramen and okonomiyaki. Everything was really good and I liked the atmosphere. Even the mild ramen is pretty spicy, my girlfriend went through two napkins but wouldn’t stop eating, she said it “burns so good”, but if you have a low spice tolerance be warned!

Nice little place to eat, excellent and very tasty suchi, we stop by for dinner in out last night in San Francisco, the only bad thing the place don't have fountain drink, they have can sodas, over all like the location, the place it self and the food are very good, highly recommend this place to stop by and have some food.
