I come here for breakfast way more often than I care to admit. The food is always tasty, the portions way too big, and the price is reasonable. Great diner usually with no wait, even on a Sunday for brunch. The challah french toast is especially nice!

Ordered the Toast combo with French toast and oh my... it was amazing!! The French toast is hands down the best I have ever had! We came during rush hour on a Saturday afternoon and the service was superb (some patience was required given it was a peak time). We were lucky enough to get one of their cute tables outside and can’t wait to come back! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a brunch spot in the area!

one of my favorite breakfast eateries when I visit San Francisco. it's small and usually busy, so be prepared to get bumped by people trying to get by. the food is really good and I love the artwork by Sirron Norris.

Amazing food and great prices! I live in Marin and come here for brunch often. There chocolate pancakes are a staple for my Saturday appetite. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute well priced cafe.

Always fast and friendly service.
They have a large menu and have something for everyone.
We live much further away than we used to but the lady who runs the place continues to remember our order even though we only go every month or two!
Highly recommend as your go too brunch. Usually only have to wait 15 to 20 min which is great for a SF brunch spot.
Recommend the toast combo with a spot of English breakfast tea.

So like, when you come from out of town and you wonder what the people who live there eat, this is it! The portions are proper and everything was cooked to peak deliciousness. I don't know if my server could have been more cool. Made for a very pleasant and satisfying breakfast.

Great service! I got decaf coffee twice and water refills without having to ask. Also, it has a nice family feel, with tons of young children, and middle-school kids. The menu is enormous, but you can just order whatever your hearts desires, and they will make it. I would love to come back here again while I am in San Francisco. Love these quaint, neighborhood restaurants!

Good food, reasonable wait time, reasonable price, friendly staff. Food is upscale diner fare. Great choice when you just want a good standard breakfast or sandwich, and when you're not in the mood for a hyped-up SF brunch. Similar menu to Grub (now closed) on Valencia - run by the same people.
