Great cafe with outdoor seating as well as a bookstore! Very friendly staff, upbeat who seemed to know the regulars well (it was my first time). Table side service if you dine in, otherwise they call your name. Serve yourself water and silverware if you need it, this cafe is part of the Delancey Street Foundation, an organization with a great mission of helping those who hit rock bottom. There are beers, wine, coffees, juices, all on the menu as well as food items! Would go not only for tasty simple food, but to support those who work there!

If you like a cafe that serves great grilled sandwiches and coffees, this is a very convenient place to visit. The staff are friendly and the place is also dog friendly. We loved the breakfast panini and the grilled tuna and cheese sandwich. Cafe au lait is a good choice here too. Oh! and the best part is the comfy feel of a "book store". Only thing I can recommend is that they change cushion covers as mos of the chair cushions are badly stained!

Went here for breakfast. Food arrived quickly. Food served fresh and hot. Staff is courteous and friendly. This cafe has a bookstore and art for sale. Food is delicious here and the prices are very reasonable considering the location. I highly recommend eating here after having my first meal here.

Simple good food that’s reasonably priced. They also have a small selection books. In addition to the comfortable couches inside, there’s also great outdoor seating in the garden. Usually full with families with young children. The place is built and run by former convicts and others who’ve hit rock bottom.

This is my favorite brunch place. The philosophy between this store and a restaurant nearby called Delaney's is to help rehab convicts and integrate them back into society. So I love coming here. Line is reasonable (10 minutes), I support the store's mission and food is great. I recommend their panini menu. I personally really enjoy the salmon panini.

Nice little cafe with a bookstore attached, a wide selection of food and drink options and a nice outdoor patio area. I had a mocha which was served in a unique way with the chocolate at the bottom, then coffee, then foam, topped with chocolate shavings. It showed up in the glass like Neapolitan ice cream, in layers. You then stir to incorporate everything. I overall it was a little sweet for my tastes. A bit like a thick, creamy chocolate milk with a little bit of coffee flavor to it. Very inexpensive though. 3.75 for a large AND they serve it in an actual glass which is great. Pro tip: if you don't dirty your cardboard heat guard thing then just take it off and put it back on the stack by the garbage. Waste not, want not. Senseless waste is a waste of sense :)

I can’t wait til Crossroads opens again. I check this listing every few months hoping it’s back! What a gem in SF, it was my favorite spot Pre-pandemic ❤️

Amazing food super nice staff and relaxed atmosphere. Loved everything about it. Has even a bookstore inside of coffee shop. I had a panini with bacon spinach cheese and egg and a side of fruit, it was incredible!!

Nice little cafe with a large menu. It was Sunday afternoon so we forgive that they have very little left. But still great after a long walk from Hyde tran via Giant stadium. Nutella crepe and cakes/muffins are good

Great location. Nice ambience and tasty coffee. Lots of space to sit and read or just have a conversation.
