I got the Leggo My Eggplant on sourdough and added pesto. I liked it a lot, very happy about the decision to add pesto. I think next time I’ll ask them to hollow out the bread a little so the contents of the sandwich don’t fall out when biting into it. I also think some sort of hot pepper spread would make this sandwich fantastic, but I didn’t ask about that. Next time.

Delicious sandwiches, solidly made with fresh ingredients and excellent breads. Friendly service. So many chips, drinks, and candies, not just the same boring things you see everywhere (though they have some of those too). It looks so tiny out front, you would never expect the awesomeness inside. Right next to the Presidio, with some picnic tables on the corner in case you can’t wait to eat.

Excellent super delicious, fresh, large sandwiches. I got the San Francisco- turkey, bacon, pesto, gouda and remoulade sauce, WOW! The quality of the bread also makes a huge difference in my opinion for great deli sandwiches and this certainly made it one of the better sandwiches I've had in a while! I was concerned when I saw him put my sandwich in the oven as I was looking forward to a nice fresh, cold deli sandwich on a hot day, but I was so pleasantly surprised how it elevated the experience of that sandwich, it was just warmed enough (not toasted like a sub) with the contrast of the cold condiments. I will definitely come back again to try other sandwiches.

The sandwiches are superb, possibly the best in the city. They are very fresh and delicious. The dutch crunch bread is excellent.

I work nearby and walked over to grab some sandwiches for dinner. My coworkers talk about this place all the time and I haven’t had the chance to try until now.
I got a classic cold turkey provolone on Dutch crunch. Super cold and fresh veggies, creamy cheese, turkey sliced right in front of you.
I read a review after the fact that these sandwiches come hot if you don’t request it so just FYI.
Will definitely be returning. I love a good sandwich and my bf seems to enjoy the RB cheesesteak sandwich.
Also a wide variety of chips and beer selection if you need a few additions.

Fantastic sandwich! Delicious bread and ingredients, and so many delicious-looking well curated options. I almost missed this place because the pizza place next door’s pin covered it on the map, but I’m so glad I walked past and checked it out!

Amazing sandwiches. Ordered the San Franpsycho straight up, and the God Father with the works. It gets very busy (for good reason!) so definitely order ahead if you can. 🥪👍

Best sandwich I've ever eaten! And I LOVE sandwiches! I had The Recession (Ovengold Turkey, Prosciutto and Provolone) and it was perfection! Picture won't do it justice but it was DELICIOUS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easily the best sandwiches, and sandwich selection, that I have ever experienced. I would suggest just picking a new one every time - they are all amazing. One time when the guy was carefully constructing my sandwich I made a comment about how meticulous they are in building them, and he said "I always just think, how would I want my own sandwich to look?"

This place is Great! I regret I ate the sandwiches before I could take pictures. We came from Arizona and stayed next door not knowing the best sandwiches around were there. Very good! You have to try for yourself! We tried 4 different sandwiches over our stay and they were all great! It would have been even more but we were unaware they stop making sandwiches around 630 or so.

Reu-Benny on dutch crunch was excellent. One of the best deli sandwiches I’ve had in SF. Only a couple people in line and the cashier was nice. Looked like a great drink selection too. I’ll definitely be back 😋

Golden Gate Market is just a gem of a store/deli with endless options for all. (I'm vegan and love their falafel, hummus, veggie selection.) The service is great and these guys are really trying to minimize your time spent waiting (although, you'll wait a bit - sandwiches just to appear out of nowhere.)
