From when I first moved to SF about 2 years ago to now, Red Dog is still one my of favorite brunch spots in the city. I've been going to Red Dog for brunch on weekends often and every time I go, I am always delighted with both their delicious food and decadent cocktails. I find their service to be nice too and the place is never too loud or rowdy. It makes for a perfect spot to casually eat great brunch and be able to calmly have conversations with your company.

My salad was $15 (if I added protein it would have been $17+ !!!!!). The salad was tasty though.

Comfy environment, no frills American food. Came here for brunch and enjoyed their classic breakfast plate. Rye toast with homemade apple jam was delicious, as were the fried chicken and biscuit with sausage gravy.

I got the fried chicken sandwich with vicious sauce. The sauce wasn't all that vicious but the chicken was definitely good. Waiters patiently explained everything to our inquisitive party of 5 during busy lunch hour.

Update 2018/07/15: Sadly the trotter sandwich is gone. The beer bread is still available though! 2017 review: Excellent pig trotter sandwich! Balanced flavors and tasty. I would definitely get it again. Beer bread with honey butter was delicious! Lovely chewy texture and tasty butter. Enjoyed the umami fries, but not quite as completely crispy as I prefer personally. The seaweed was tasty though.

First time here. I tried two CA craft brews that were solid! The select of beer was few, but the selections good ones none the less. The flank steak I had was pretty good. No complaints. It wasn’t the best steak ever but still was tasty. The fries was not all that great. They were between cold and warm when I got them. That is just not cool for fries! 😏

Good service and amazing food! Had the eggs benedict and it was a delicious surprise: one of the best I've ever had. The potatos are incredible 🤤

We're there for Sunday brunch. Food is tasty but bit expensive. Service is also very well.
