After picking up my auntie at the airport she was hungry so, my son searched for a sushi place, this sushi bar had very good reviews and it didn't disappointed. We tried several rolls and we liked them, the service was excellent. Would definitely come back on another visit to Sn. Fco.
Really enjoyed the chirashi and the omakase box special. Fish was very fresh and the omakase was very unique. We enjoyed all of it very much. The staff was nice despite an initial period of confusion about how long the wait was or whether we could even get a table. But once we were seated the staff were great. Atmosphere is cute. Looks somewhat updated, not a huge fan of loud music in any restaurant. So if you're looking for a quiet dinner out then you might want to go elsewhere, but the food alone is worth it. We were curious about the noodle soups, and I like to go back for that. Even though this is a sushi place, the soups that other people ordered looked promising.
Got seated right at opening, food came out fast and fish is very fresh. Honestly has become one of my top 3 sushi spots in SF.
Amazing toro and hamachi!! The staff was super nice and gave great recommendations! We had a team dinner here, and everyone enjoyed their food and drinks
Went here with my hubby since it was a beautiful day and we were suddenly craving for sushi. Tried this and loved it! The food was delicious and the service was very nice. Came in with hungry stomachs and left with very happy and full ones! Will definitely recommend and be back!
Here were some of the things we had!
Super fresh fish!
Price is decent for the quality. Tried the chirashi bowl, Transformer sushi, agedashi tofu, and prawn teppanyaki. Everything was good except the prawns that were bland and over cooked.
Service is very friendly!
Food: 4.5/5
Service: 5/5
Value: 4/5
Ambiance: Casual-nice, cute ambiance
Ordered the chicken karaage, DJ roll, Romeo & Juliet roll, mini scallop burger, and hamachi kama.
All items were very flavorful, the menu is extensive and has many options for sushi and entree items. In relation to other similar priced 4-5 star sushi restaurants in SF, I’d say it’s very comparable in price, freshness and taste.
Aesthetically, the rolls look great and have great presentation.
Would come back again!
Came here with a friend with a reservation on Opentable.
Good:
- Very cute small place in Potrero Hill - I like the easily parkable location
- Fan of the SFPD and Romeo and Juliet rolls - really good flavor and I wanted more when I was done with both rolls - 4.5/5 rolls
- I thought the beef udon soup was average - but still nice on a cold day - 3/5
- Quick service - food arrives quite quickly to the table after ordering.
Bad:
- Nothing too special about the food or ambiance that makes me think "oh wow this is somewhere I'd definitely take my friends"
Overall just a solid Japanese place that's cute and decently affordable.
Went here for dinner with a friend. The chirashi bowl was excellent—great quality fish and a generous portion at a reasonable price. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back.
This place might not be stellar, but I believe that the price point matches the quality. I ordered bento box with 3 items and it definitely filled me. Other young men followed the suits and happy about the food. Sorry I forgot to take a photo of the food.
