After a number of years in SF, this restaurant will be closing in about a week, as the Chef heads back to the East Coast I believe. The restaurant is set in a vast hangar-like space with high ceilings. The heart of the place is no doubt the huge pizza oven, where your pizza will spend just over a minute cooking. The dough has a lovely moist and chewy texture. Very enjoyable, well worth a try in its last week if you can.

Some of the finest Napoletana pizza in San Francisco. How to describe the dough? So perfectly chewy and springy. The sauce? Perfectly fresh, full-flavored. The ingredients? So pure and simple. I will miss this place!

This continues to be the best pizza in the San Francisco area. The owner, Anthony, makes the pizza in front of your eyes. He is the only chef here! Individually making each pizza out of a limited menu of 5, the choice ingredients and flavors all come out in the pizza, whether it is the sea salt, the mozzarella cheese, the basil, the olive oil, the oregano, the tomatoes, the garlic pieces or the arugula. I don't like crusts but his crusts are good enough that I eat them. The taste of this pizza remains in my mouth for days. The pizzas run are $25. All pizzas are vegetarian, except one which is only available on Saturdays. The price of the pizza should not deter you. This is extremely good pizza that is made with passion & care, with quality fresh ingredients. The decor is spartan. Parking is available streetside -usually within a block. I love this place. My wife & I have been coming since it opened. They are open Wed-Sat, from 5pm until the dough runs out which may be past 9pm. On Fri-Sat, expect 30-45 minute lines. If you want your pizza fast, come before 5pm so you don't have to wait.

The pizza is fantastic. I'm a total pizza snob, who grew up in Italy. The pizza here is 100% an authentic flavour experience. The menus is short and simple, which I like. Be aware though that the pizzas are Naples style, which may not be everybody's cup of tea. Even Italians often don't like this type of pizza. I like it and it is perfectly executed here. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Well, the place is MASSIVELY overpriced. My husband and I had 2 pizzas (they are individual size), he had a glass of wine and I had a normal lager. The bill came up to $100 with tip. Seriously? For a place with no decor, no real menus other than 5 types of pizzas and limited staff?

Awesome Pizza. I like the margarita pizza especially. Very nice staff, accommodate us since we are an hour away by driving .Pizza is not oily and has the right balance of flavors. I like the no toppings rule, since you sometimes put way too much of one thing, and then the pizza doesn't take good. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member. Best pizza I've tasted!

This truly is as good as it gets. Very few tables and even less menu options. This place focuses on one thing, and they're nailing it. The ingredients are fantastic, and you can really taste what each of them contributes to the pizza, but the best part is, hands down, the crust. It is perfection.

This place is fantastic. True to the wood-fired Neapolitan style pizza (much different than your average pizza). This guy left New York to make pizza in SF. Perfectly thin crust, simple elegant toppings. Come on Saturdays for pizza with the egg on top, it is amazing.

Excellent! Very minimal - just good pizza, no gimmicks. Would love nice to see a vegan option on the menu - hopefully soon. This place might not be for everyone... but if you appreciate true craftsmanship, you will probably like what Una is doing, and doing well!

I have been to Una Pizza many times and I always love it. This is pizza distilled to it's purest form. It continues to astound me that people leave 1-star reviews filled with whining about not being able to get red pepper flakes or bread - or pepperoni. This is not Pizza Hut! Do you roll into a Chinese restaurant and demand ketchup? Take what they offer and enjoy ... or not. But don't give a 1-star review because they don't have pepper or pepperoni.

In town from Canada...curious on the hype...OMG, hands down the best authentic pizza...what makes an awesome pizza = light texture from perfect leavened dough + baked in custom Italian wood oven + fresh ingredients. Open only 4 days per week & 4 hrs a day or until they run out of dough?! They must be doing something right...
