I LOVE Bacco! It's a hidden gem in quiet Noe Valley. The ambiance is great but I do mostly take-out, and Bacco's food is fantastic. My favorite is one of their specialties, Sacchetto. And the Brasato (short ribs), the Rigatoni, the Fregola, Gnocci, Beet salad with goat cheese are so fantastic, I keep getting them so after years, I still haven't tried the entire menu. Hostess/owner is a doll. Authentic staff. New wine bar. Outdoor dog friendly seating too. Did I say I love Bacco?!
Great place. If you like fine Italian dining, you gotta try this place.
Came here to celebrate my moms bday and was thoroughly impressed. Inside has a lot of tables and we noticed a lot of people enjoying the back patio. We sat inside, next to the fire place. Service was very attentive and quick. We ordered the impepta and cesar salad to start. The clams and mussels were cooked perfectly and tasted great with the tomato sauce. Would definitely recommend it for an appetizer. For mains we got the rigatoni and ravioli. The pasta was cooked perfectly to our liking. There was a lot of flavor in the dishes. We ended with tiramisu. It was fresh and could really taste the coffee. Overall, we loved the food and ambiance here and cant wait to come back again.
Went to Bacco for the first time, and had a wonderful time!
The entire staff that we interacted with was very friendly, attentive, and efficient, and they offered us the fireplace seat for a nice ambiance!
The food was really nice! We especially loved the zuppa as a starter off the specials menu, and the spinach ravioli off of the main menu. Beautifully presented, great texture , and awesome flavor. Topped off with a decadent flourless chocolate cake which was a great closer. The bruschetta was the only dish that we felt was a bit low on flavor, but all in a great dinner!
This is a great neighborhood gem in Noe Valley! The food is really good and you’ve definitely got to check out the daily specials. We order from it every time!
The staff is very friendly and just pleasant all around and the owner is the best!
All-in-all, you can’t go wrong having a meal at Bacco, especially if you can get a seat on the back patio.
Bacco catered my dad’s 80th birthday and they did a fantastic job. The lasagna was rich and toothsome, the salads crisp and fresh, and the bread was hearty. Plus, portions were generous and the service was excellent.
Came in on a Sunday evening for a dinner with my SO and so glad I did! Everything was delicious, the food was timely, and the portions were perfect. Wine list is great, and the prices were even better! I'm definitely coming back. Highly recommend!
Really like the new location and expanded menu. The orange salad was wonderful, as was the tortelloni with truffle sauce. The mushroom risotto can be vegan as long as you ask for no butter.
Started with cream of onion soup, very tasty. Then onto main course of braised short rib served with gnocci and the margherita pizza and lasagna were both very good.
Amazing food, amazing service. They even had gluten free options for myself which can be hard to find. The restaurant is cozy and intimate. They were able to seat us immediately. Most amazing authentic Italian food I have experienced in a long time.
Atmosphere (outside area) > food, but table bread is phenomenal and I could eat unhealthy amounts of it any day. The litmus test is the spaghetti and meatballs for the kids and they found it 'meh' and didn't finish it. Also had the branzino (solid), chicken sandwich (pretty good), and a side of fries (damn good).
Great food. Tomato bisque was so flavorful and they had gluten free pasta that was fantastic. It didn’t break apart and had a nice form bite. A few of the staff were rude which I didn’t appreciate. It took me out of the wonderful mood I was in when we arrived. I’d definitely be back for take out but not going to dine in.
