We arrived at 6pm on a Sunday and there were plenty of open tables for us despite the dance party and the via hotel across the street. Excellent drink selection and fresh guacamole for appetizers. We had the carnitas and some tacos which were both well prepared. The salsa selection was most appreciated with habanero and Serrano chilies.

TRES has excellent Mexican food and drinks. I found their vegetarian options to be slightly limited, but the dish I got with the fake meat meatballs was excellent. The margaritas here were fantastic. I really liked the different kinds of salsas and sauces they gave me because I really like spicy sauces. They also have excellent guacamole and our table finished it up in no time. This place is slightly pricey (especially with appetizers and drinks), but the ambiance and the quality of food and drinks make it worth it. Would come here again!

As a local sometimes you need to take a long walk somewhere new....Walked 5 miles to Tres to try some new Mexican food with the wife and had a good experience! Got seated right away and service was good. Chips and salsa very nice. Had the carnitas tacos and loved them. Also had a carne torta and while I didn't like what seemed like a taco in a pizza slice with alot of flavors, my Argentinian wife like it alot and remind her of her country. They have a huge bar and today had a lot of big party's in randomly for graduations so in can accomodate 1 to 10 pretty nicely. Overall its a good place to eat some quality Mexican food in a pretty chill location and is worth a visit if in the area.

I attended a catered event and learned to make a margarita here. That was a truly mind-blowing experience. After i was truly drunk like the gods on my own supply, I had some amazing dinner-type food. To top it all off, we ended with chocolate and churros. If I had working tear ducts, I would've cried with joy. I hope to come here at least as many more times as the name implied I should.
