From the sushi to shashimi, the food is innovative and very fresh. We ordered the chicken in Brioche which is the best chicken I have ever eaten in my life. 10x better than Zuni's which is amazing! Definitely go for cocktails as they are fantastic as well.

Fantastic Mexican food in the Castro. We had a wonderful meal and were waited on by Yubaldo, who attended to our every need. He was a real treat! I ordered a Mexican flavored burger which was flavorful and juicy; it came with roasted fingerling potatoes that were well salted. My dining partner ordered the veggie tacos which came on fresh corn tortillas. The taco sauce was a bit oily and drippy, making eating them and remaining clean an impossibly. Plan on washing your hands after. I'd absolutely go there again; in fact I plan to.

Stuff of happy hour legend. Food is delicious and a steal. I’m talking $2 tacos and $5 for other appetizers, all of which will transport you to an afternoon in Mexico City. We had the coparitas (house margaritas?), nice balance between citrus and tequila. Grab a seat at the bar or bring a group.

Hosted our 1 year old's birthday party with our friends (large group of size 18) at this restaurant. Couldn't recommend it any higher! The staff and the owner are extremely welcoming and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious and they went out of their way to meet vegetarian and kid food preferences. Truly an awesome experience and grateful for their hospitality!

From entering the restaurant and seeing the beautiful art on the walls to the last bite off of the plate… this place is just phenomenal with excellent service. Chef Julio’s menu is so tasty and I crave the flavors often that keep me coming back! Their tasting menu is a really amazing experience and a nice elevated experience to their normal menu. You can’t go wrong whether you come in for brunch or drinks/dinner with friends!

We arrived at about 6:45 pm for dinner on a weekday. The host greeted us with the utmost kindness & we were delighted to see how spacious the interior is as there is no outdoor seating. The staff was prompt, patient, and kind and the food was full of flavor. Each dish we had was delicious and made with quality ingredients - Mary's Chicken and New Zealand wagyu to name a few!! Even cooked med-well, the burger patty was flavorful and juicy (only downside is we found the mustard to be a bit much and will ask for it on the side next time) We definitely want to go back for dinner and to try their weekend brunch! Cocktails looked delicious but I had to stay virgin with a crushed blackberry/strawberry and club soda drink. Also super refreshing and not too sweet!

UPDATE: The Tasting Room, is a fantastic 6 course tasting menu (with beverage pairing) offered 2 nights a weeks. Chef Julio and his team deliver a great experience: private dining room, limited seats, attentive staff, new-constantly changing menu delights and excellent beverages paired with each course. OLD REVIEW: new gem of a restaurant for the Castro! The octopus was delightful. Everything is a complex, enjoyable melding of multiple flavors, textures and colors. With the seasonal menu, this place will be worthy of many repeat visits.

We had an amazing time. They have a wonderful selection of tequila, and the drink menu is great. We tried a bunch of different dishes and every one was perfect! The bartender and servers were all great and JJ really knows tequila. They have awesome art work on the walls and we were lucky enough to meet the artist. I will go back!

My wife and I just had a lovely dinner here. Servers were fast and attentive. They made sure to change our flatware and plates between courses and cleaned our table frequently. The food was delicious. Lots of heavy sauces which we finished with our lavain bread. The flavors were Latin inspired but not too salty. The steak was well cooked and brought out on a hot plate. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she was very friendly. Would come back again with friends.

Wow what an amazing spot. Dinner and drinks were delicious and creative, our bartenders and servers were very accommodating and made us feel at home too. Returned for lunch and their chicken burrito is one of the best I've ever had. Looking forward to returning very soon.
