I usually pick up from here at least once a month. This place is consistently delicious and the portions are plentiful! All the kabob are yummy and the staff is so pleasant!

Delicious food. The place is located right in the heart of the downtown. The food was prepared freshly and served hot. The portion size is also very reasonable.

The food is EXCELLENT. It's not quite as good as my favorite Afghan place ever, Afghan Cuisine in Concord, and the prices are very high for what you get. But while working in San Francisco, was dying for some good afghan food. I got the sabzi, butternut squash dish, and chicken kabob. I was surprised that the chicken kabob only has 6 pieces of meat with it for 30 dolllars. And the squash and sabzi dishes don't list it, but they come with rice. I would eat here again because the food is great, but only occasionally.

OMG - the food blew my mind! It’s so freaking good with such a variety. I especially loved the eggplant. True lifesaver for someone who got tired of American cuisine. I’m coming definitely back tomorrow.

I took my visiting family to this great kitchen yesterday and they loved the food especially the chapli kabob! The plate had three types of rice and delicious sides and all the kinds of meat served were amazing! It was authentic and very similar homemade food and fresh out of the oven/kitchen! Would definitely come back!

I am sitting here stunned by all the flavors in my triple kabob combo, complete with rice 2 delicious veggie mixes flatbread and dipping chutney. There's clearly a complex spice recipe going on, these flavors are top shelf. I think it's the best kabob plate i ever had! Wow. Also the man running the show is very polite and warmly friendly. It's a real find!

This is so much food it took 2 people and 2 meals to finish it. The kabab are so juicy and flavorful the bread is fresh and fluffy. Don’t forget to ask for red spicy sauce

De afghanan is the best afghan restaurant in the Bay Area and their San Francisco location is just as good if not better than the Fremont location!
The owner is very friendly and pleasant to chat with while enjoying your amazing Afghan cuisine!
