I love Koo. It is the pound for pound king of sushi. It is moderately priced and is great quality. Their standard hot and cold dishes are tasty, and their custom dishes are unique. While nearby sushi spots have ambiance, Koo has friendly staff and qualify food.

Very nice sushi place the best sushi I’ve ever had. Highly recommended U2 or anything with tempura. Great combination of sushi and crunchy tempura. Can’t wait to go back.

I found this place via Maps and its high rankings and was not disappointed. The service was quick, and the Sushi fresh. I can recommend the ‘Best’ Sushi due to its unique lemon flavor. 🍣 🍋

We just get take away, but this is our favorite, reasonably-priced sushi restaurant in SF.

The menu is very fully of crab which is simply not for me. The albacore tuna sashimi was excellent and the Tokyo Roll was also good.

Delicious sushi in a cozy little space. Incredibly conveniently located directly next to a MUNI spot.

The fish was exceptionally fresh. They featured both Japanese and Santa Barbara Uni. Each was delicious. Presentation was first rate. Would highly recommend this place if you are a sushi aficionado.

Koo is one of my favorite places to go. The sushi is great as are the shared plates. I love the oysters and the scallop appetizers. The green beans are amazing. Their rolls are also really good. You can't go wrong. They also have a huge selection of saki. I highly recommend this place.

Every time I go here it's absolutely delicious. That spinach + peanut sauce salad they make it enough to merit a trip. I had the sashimi combo and the fish was so fresh. Excellent service - they let our party stay a long time to enjoy the food and company. One of my fave Japanese restaurants in SF!
