Ghirardelli On-the-go

Bad service at this location and it’s hard to get a spot to eat (sitting or standing), but this is the best sundae I’ve ever had! The fudge is amazing. It’s not overly sweet and the texture is amazing even once cooled by the ice cream. The hot brownie is also very fudgie. There was nothing special about the ice cream, though.

I came here for a late night crave last weekend. It's right in the heart of market/financial district, and is always busy given the tourist hub it's located at. As with most Ghirardelli locations, they have single squares sprawled in the center of the space and adjust to the formation of a line. All great selections, from classics to seasonals. I came to get the brownie sundae for 12 dollars. They always deliver quality, and while the price point is high you're paying for the experience of a world renowned brand. The staff was friendly and my order was to go and yet the sundae was well constructed for eats on the go and at the hotel. Gotta love Ghirardelli!

Always a great feeling to be out here. It's a pleasant walk /stroll around the entire complex. Try the chocolate shake at the store. Food options are limited. Not so great at the diner. The other kitchen has good pizza options. Not much options with baking chocolate. Nevertheless the smell and the space are pleasing.
