Came to Skool cuz we heard good things, came for brunch and it was, well, soothing to chill in the City. You walk in through the patio and right away you feel a calming effect. We were seated quickly, the waitstaff was attentive. Ordered the Skool omelet with bacon, and the karaage and waffles. They came piping hot, the omelet was flavorful, with pickled jalapeños that were just the right spice and tartness. I like chicken and waffles, I LOVE karaage and waffles! Tender, marinated with Asian flavors and the waffles were crunchy yet pillow-soft. Don't miss the Katsuo fries, couldn't stop eating those skinny fries! Looking forward to the next time!

53rd wedding anniversary for this UK couple visiting their daughter. She booked us in here. A popular venue. Very well cooked food in a friendly environment. Our desserts came with a candle on each to celebrate. A three course meal with wine and cocktail for two was $200 with gratuity.

Great spot for brunch or dinner. Nice, heated, dog-friendly outdoor patio. I highly recommend their Bloody Mary & my fave dish I order every single time I go is the Squid Ink Spaghettina! The broth is so delicious! We also love the bread & yummy seaweed butter and they always have a yummy poke on the menu. Added Bonus: There's always plenty of street parking nearby (just be smart and don't leave anything visible in the car!) Definitely give this place a try!

The setting is very vibrant and warm. The waitress we got was very helpful and attentive. The food was absolutely smashing !!! Try their seafood dishes. You can't go wrong. The panko portobello with side of avocado was good but the calamari starter and the prawn, scallops black ink spaghetti was even better.

The ahi poke down was pretty amazing. It was spicy, but balanced well with the avo. It's a bit expensive, but more than worth the splurge for the ambiance and quality service. Overall time well spent to catch up with an old friend.

Uni flan and spaghettina (italian take on ramen) are bomb. Not cheap but v good food and service from the bartender. Cheesecake can be better but ill be back for sure.

First time here and thought the atmosphere was great. They played with the word “Skool” which is, of course, school theme restaurant. Really cute place. The salmon rillette was nice and creamy. The karaage chicken was just okay; however, the apple purée that came with it was excellent! The service was a bit slow in between the rillette and the karaage with about 20 people in the restaurant, but we I didn’t mine it much because the service was wonderful. I’d certainly come back in the near future with friends.
