Amazing place. The sushi is top notch. Got the omaksake tasting menu which did not disappoint. Service was great we always had what we needed. The atmosphere was nice. Indoor seating is close together so it is not super intimate, but still a great place for a date or just a dinner with friends. For the price what you get is an amazing value. This spot is really a neighborhood gem. I always try to stop in at least once every time I am visiting SF.

Actually the best sushi place I've experienced in SF (over many years). They have a "gourmet method" of some kind to make the sushi uncommonly tasty and elegant. Very cozy place. No reservations so put your name in and go to the Dubliner for drinks prior!!

I had the nigiri omakase twice while staying in Noe for a week. I've become a sushi snob over many years, and their selection for nigiri was one of the best sushi meals I've ever had. No need to dip your sushi in soy here. Everything is perfectly seasoned and balanced. I especially enjoyed sitting at the bar the first night because the chef would prepare and serve each piece as I finished the previous piece. It made for a well-paced meal that left me happy and full. As others have mentioned, this restaurant is waiting list only. Luckily on a busy night you can put your name and number in and head over to the nearby pub for a drink while you wait for the text.

This has been one of my favorite sushi spots in the city. They have lunch from Friday to Sunday. Few pcs to multiple pcs of Omakase to choose from. I love the salmon skin salad and the fish are alway fresh and yummy here. The nigiri it’s not over sized. It’s seasoned and the size it’s one bite perfect size. Tamago also taste like a honey cake. I love to save it to the last. Service it’s good as well. Down side it’s not easy to find parking in this area.

Excellent sushi place in Noe Valley, in SF. Great selection, from New Zealand to Japan. Quality is amazing, from food to service. The rice is served at the right temperature, which is rare around here. Portions are on the small side, but absolutely delicious. The only (small) issue is they don't take reservations and the wait time can be long. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful cozy restaurant, along a quaint yet sometimes busy Street in Noe Valley. Upon entering and waiting for the host you can choose to sit outside where there are heat lamps that actually work and provide an enjoyable experience even on a foggy, overcast day. Inside there is a chef’s table and a few tables, I would say that a group of six would have a bit of a hard time so I would say Max 4. I had the five piece sashimi omakase and I was impressed for it being $30. I also tried the Mina Hakata scallop, which was absolutely melting in my mouth, sweet rich, tasty filleted scallop nigiri. They brought out the rolled up towel, which goes hand-in-hand with an Omakase, the platings were gorgeous and I was ignorant to a portion of the Omakase, which the waiter was so kind and so pleasantly informative. He actually made me feel less embarrassed that I didn’t know and so I really appreciate that. Everyone was really nice. The service is efficient I was by myself and I was sat down, ordered and checked out all within 30 minutes, so for a chill Sunday evening around 6:30 PM it was the best.

Quality omakase at reasonable (for SF) prices. Difficult to make reservations, so be prepared to put your name down in person and wait 30-45min before getting a seat.

Very impressed with omakase. Intimate venue and very legit and friendly staff. I love that it feels like a tucked away yet very high quality sushi bar in now. Will definitely be back.
