Delicious authentic empanadas. The cashier was kind and we tried chicken gaucho, three cheese, and banana empanadas. All perfect and tasteful with awesome sauces on side. Just hot inside on summer. If you like Latin food, you need to try it. Quick service.

Great place for some good priced empanadas. Tons of variety and great options for all. I really enjoy the chimicurri sauce as well.

Several vegetarian options. Tried the mushroom, spinach and Mediterranean. All were delicious with plenty of filling inside! The chimichurri was delicious. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Took them to go but had no idea of telling which one was which until you opened them up. They are about 7 bucks a piece.

Super chill when I went in around 6p. Hella good empanadas, I got the aji and the salteña as suggestion. The red sauce went great with the aji and the herbed olive oil was awesome on the salteña.
10/10 will be coming back.
Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry, because it take a couple more than 5 minutes to get it perfect.
I think mine were in there for 7 or 8 and they were incredible.
Yummy!!!

The Best empanadas I've ever eaten!!!
Served warm with generous filling, many vegetarian or gluten free options. I've tried the mushroom empanada and the banana and dulce de leche (sweet), they were both delicious and at a good price.
They have some good refreshing drinks too.
I definitely recommend!

Many delicious flavors, all fresh with plenty of filling inside each! Fair prices. Friendly and helpful service, and with the bonus of a very clean bathroom. We will be back with friends and family!

Stopped by yesterday to pick up a couple mushroom empanadas for my partner’s birthday and, as always, they were amazing with tasty pastry and wonderfully seasoned juicy mushrooms. Reasonably priced with a small casual eating area, Venga never disappoints

The food is so nice! And they also got wine, among other beverages! The guy working there is super cool, ask for his recommendations when you are not certain about what to order, it can’t go wrong! :D

Best empanadas in SF hands down. I tried the beef empanada and a spinach and cheese; both equally as good.
Couldn't take a pic of the beef though because i ate it too quick. I also tried the dessert empanada stuffed with banana and something else (vanilla?) Sooo good.
The thing i like about this place the most, is the empanadas arent pre-cooked and sitting under glass for 4 hours before it's put in the microwave for you, like some places. Instead their empanadas are made to order... hallelujah!
Theres another place that sells empanadas at embarkadero, but they are twice as expensive and half as small. If you're in the Mission you have to try one.. they're small enough to eat while walking around but also filling too.
Bravo Venga!

Warm, tasty empanadas and good sauces paired with them!

High quality tasty empanadas in thin dough!
They have a variety of vegetarian and meat empanadas. We got the mushroom , the ground beef, and two different types of chicken, and they were all really good!

Lots of options for flaky, tasty empanadas, nice staff, casual vibes, and prices that won't leave you with too big a hole in your wallet. Good spot in a good location in the Mission. Check it out!

Prices are reasonable- a quinoa salad at 6.75 and an empanada for 3.25. They brought out my spicy beef empanada toasted and it was delicious(chunky meat, good spice balance, flavorful and not too salty)!

The empanadas were delicious. The sauces are a bit on the light side but the empanadas really are packed with flavor so that balances out very well.
I got the Chicken and Spicy Beef both were incredible. The place took 20mins to prepare them for some reason so just account for that if you wanna grab something quick. This is not as quick as you might think.

I stop here every time I travel to San Francisco for some empanadas to go! My favorites are the meat-filled ones. The crust is super flakey and delicious. Make sure to eat them with their dipping sauces!

Cute bistro with delectable selection! Tons of vegetarian options and you would be hard pressed to eat just one! Gotta try them out!

Despite the fact we came only 30 minutes before closing the service was great and had a good time. The spicy sauce could benefit from a little more flavor, and the beef was a little blend for my taste. That said, overall, I recommend this place.
