I have been to all their locations. Amazing food, ambience and what can I say about the Pisco Sours ? But the best thing has always been the attention , the people that works there are always smiling, always taking care of details, making sure I feel appreciated and that they care about my business and me been there.
This is something contagious. I have seen in a couple of the sites the same Manager, Luciana; who personally came to us and ask us about our day, and made some recommendations. She did this with every table around us. I call that very good service !!!
Keep it that way, me and my friends love the place... authentic Peruvian food..
We've been dining at Fresca on West Portal for 14 years and the new Irving location features a similar, well thought out, diverse and delicious menu. Ceviches, seafood, meats with complex spices, amazing sauces, chupes, antuchos, causa. ALL with charming plating and presentation. Clay dishes, boards. You can order differently at every visit and have an unusual extremely delicious, in fact, scrumptious meal. No way to make these dishes at home. Family owned and operated, the staff, chefs are warm, friendly, inviting! It's a little noisy, so if that matters-ask for a corner table!! Great for celebrations, guests or your favorite neighborhood local dining.
Very good food; pisco sour just decent; service not good at all ( the hipster guy with a mustache was horrible; the girl did better)
When we visit our friends in the city, they like to bring us here. What a great place for a special meal. The service and food are exceptional. I have had a variety of ceviche there and could make a meal out of just that. The flavor combinations are amazing. My meal last night was the salmon on a bed of risotto and spinach. Absolutely delicious! And the flan... mmm. Perfecto! Dim lights, seat by the window. The whole experience couldn't have been better.
LOVE THEY'RE PISCO SOURS. Everything else is amazing, especially the small plates and civiche. 10/10 I plan on eating here regularly
Had a pisco sour it was fantastic. Cerviche was very good to. I ahi tuna coconut milk and plantains
Tasty Peruvian food! The anticucho platter was excellent. The tequenos were awesome too.
The fried fish around a pile of seafood and shellfish, along with the paella is fantastic!
Wow! I do believe this was my first experience of an authentic Peruvian restaurant and this was a good one to start with. The food was spectacular. We were with another couple and got some starters to share. Ceviche. Awesome! Beef heart! I had a taste. The crispy chicken was amazing. I got beef short ribs. So good. Service was good. We got a window table which was nice but we were there on a Sunday evening, so it wasn't busy.
Great neighborhood place. Fresh food, attentive service, nice & clean location.
The atmosphere, service, and food were great. Seems like a good place to bring a small group of friends.
The prices were quite a bit higher than we expected, though. Two small appetizers and plantain chips (no drinks) came out to $50 after tax/tip. We ended up skipping mains and going next door for more affordable tacos. I would return, but only for a special occasion.
I had one of the best meals I've had in a long long time at Fresca. The drinks were custom made to our liking and outrageously good. Service was friendly and attentive. The food timing was great! The atmosphere was lovely. I'll be back.
