Perfect Moroccan food. Tasty and service is excellent. We ordered couscous and tagini, it was really delicious. Of course we loved the courtesy tea pot too!

Went here seeking a similar cuisine experience to what we had at a Moroccan restaurant in Paris, and wow did this place deliver! Fall-off-the-bone tender meat, robust flavors…. Can’t say enough about how delicious it was. And the prices are unbelievably low. Will be returning as often as we can.

Excellent Moroccan food… The lamb chops are very juicy and tasty. The tagines are delicious and flavorful. The rice with olives is very tasty!

What can I say about this hole in the wall that truly represents what a foodie is in search of and say how it all was captured in this type of visit. The food was delicious, the atmosphere and servers were amazing, prices were actually pretty fair for these times as well. Come in and give this place a try!

What a great place! The food was all delicious, the Mint Tea was the best I've had at a restaurant, and the bread was exactly as it should be.
This place is a bit far from the Metro and it's biggest issue is its location, but if you take the time to go here you'll be very pleased with your decision.

A fantastic little Moroccan restaurant on Polk street. The prices are affordable and portion sizes are hearty. The flavors are really unique and they use interesting ingredients like lemon confit and saffron. Service is good and the place has a homey yet exotic vibe.
We liked the Chicken confit which was cooked in a Tagine pot and which came with the softest yet crunchiest bread. We also got saffron rice which was cooked with olives and peas. The meat was incredibly soft and the lemon confit imparted a subtle tang. The chicken dish was half a chicken and also had olives. Would be incredible on a cold windy day.

What a wonderful small and eclectic restaurant, with a very Mediterranean decor and vibe that's in a convenient location near the cable car terminus on Polk Street. Everything we ordered was amazing, with generous portions, quality ingredients, friendly staff and oh, so flavorful!!
Our favorite was the Chicken Bastilla (sometimes called pigeon pie), a light, crispy fluffy pastry shell filled with savory spiced chicken and stuffings, and garnished with a light dusting of powdered sugar for a truly unique blend of flavors. Highly recommended!
Also, make sure to try the traditional Moroccan mint tea, we were glad we did.
