Love this place. Appears to be a hidden gem. 99% of the people pass by this place to go to the overhyped Fisherman's Grotto etc. I had the shrimp and chips and my mom the fish and chips. The food was very good, service was prompt and friendly and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food and given the location. Would definitely recommend, especially if you like garlic. The garlic chips are delicious.

Stop here for fish and chips, you won't be disappointed. The fish was thick, moist and flaky and paired with Garlic chips (or fries) was a match made in heaven! We ordered one portion to feed 2 of us and are glad we did as one each would have been too much.

Love this place! The fish and chips are simply the best I’ve ever eaten! For $15.96 after tax, it’s light, crispy and perfectly fried. This is a cool restaurant on Pier 43. You don’t need to pay big bucks to enjoy a view!

The food is awesome. The world famous fishwich deserves its name. But you have to like garlic, because as the name (stinking rose) suggests, you end up walking out of the restaurant like Spongebob: you stink, but you're proud!

actually super good! Clam Chowder was nice and creamy, calamari was crunchy, fries are nice and garlicky. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing, definitely recommend!

Came across this place while walking around the Pier 43 area and they advertised the famous Fishwich & best Fish n Chips so naturally had to try it out. It was crowded so had a good feeling about it too. The place was pretty basic with quite enough seating. You order & pay for the food first and wait to be called when the food is ready. They have nice views of the pier if you decide to sit on the patio. The battered fish was pretty amazing; soft & fresh cooked to perfection! The Fishwich was good too; they probably used the same battered fish however it got greasy + the bun made it too heavy to eat the entire sandwich. You get good value for money here! Would visit again if I am in the area.

Frankie's Pier 43 is on the ground floor of the Franciscan Crab Restaurant. It has a lot of interesting model cars, trains, buses hanging from the ceiling. I enjoyed their clam chowder. You can get the cup without the bread bowl option, but it's only $2 less, so if you like bread, get it with the bread bowl!

Stopped here for a quick bite during work trip. The sign outside advertised it as the best fish and chip ever, so I had to give it a shot. I don't know if it was the best ever, but it was really good. I also tried the beingets,, which were very good too. Overall it was a great way quick stop and I'd come back again.

Stopped in to get some beignets and man, they were sooo good! The whipped cream was the touch that made it memorable! Yummy

Good fish and chips. Nice but a little too salty soup.
