This place truly is Michelin star. The flavors all work out wonderfully in each dish. My favorites were the cheesecake, which is quite savory and cheesy, and the calamari cappuccino dish. Definitely try the cheesecake if you're a huge cheese fan, even if you're not sure if you like other cheesecake out there.

It’s a delightful dinning experience. All the courses are from Michelin restaurants all around the world. In situ just like a museum for food. The courses are small to medium size but highly processed. There is no need to illustrate more. Just try as much as you can. Also, don’t forget to try their homemade bread which is soft and humid with the most tasty brown butter sauce on the side. We even ordered the second time after we tried it. Highly recommend this restaurant for people who want to try Michelin food from different restaurants.

So simple concept that you wonder why nobody would have thought about doing it somewhere else. A curated selection of plates inspired by iconic dishes from gastronomic restaurants around the world. Execution is spotless, choice of dishes (in partnership with the original chef) is great and the place is relaxed but trendy as well ! Great to be inside the SFMOMA !

Great concept of collaborating with chefs. Excellent service with very detailed explanation on the menu which was very helpful. Dishes were great and served professionally. A must try when you visit SF, with family, friends, or even by yourself.

The concept of In Situ is absolutely magnificent. It is an extension of the art museum where the art is the work of global chefs. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the food was so memorable. One of the courses, Amé literally brought tears to my eyes as it touched all the senses together - sight, hearing, touch, flavor. This is a restaurant experience I will never forget. Please make the time to visit.

Amazing experience within an art museum where the cafe food is usually less than ideal. Very interesting concept where the menu items are conceived by chefs from around the globe and then executed by the kitchen in the restaurant with great deftness. The table service is also excellent and the beverage choice is very nice. They have both communal tables and private tables. The food is excellent and interesting. Very close to many other attractions in the Soma district including the Moscone Center. This restaurant also has 1 Michelin star and it is well deserved.

Recommended by Saison staff, as the chef of In Situ extracts the best dishes from famous restaurants across the world. So, we dropped in before our visit to SFMOMA. Simple, clean, modern style of interior design. Yet, the food was creatively delicious, and poetic! On the fish dish, the chef wrote with sauce (squid ink?). We asked the waitress, she came back with a translation of "Made your on medicine, don't let the critics effect your direction." Definitely a five-star experience!

You had me on 'wassabi marshmallows'. It was such a creative lobster dish. This place was above my expectation! It was a perfect ending to a fun museums tour. Our reservation is at 5 when the museum close. Also is the cheesecake is around, it is worth the wait.

Great restaurant in the SFMOMA that recreates famous dishes from top restaurants around the world. We had the shrimp grits, wasabi lobster, and lamb carrot. All were delicious, but the lobster was our favourite. We want to go back to get the Jasper Hill Farm Cheesecake, which looked amazing. Great cocktails and friendly service as well

This is the place you want to go. I went here with my partner to celebrate my birthday and we both had an amazing experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown San Francisco. The service is polite, friendly, resourceful and accommodating. The menu is very well crafted with surprisingly diverse and harmonic dishes. The food is divine and will make you rejoice with the presentation and flavor. The cocktails are very well crafted and delicious. It's the perfect place for a full course dinner, dates, as well as for groups of friends. If you're in the city this place is a must.
