This is a gem and needs a bump from all negative reviews. The staff was very attentive and polite. The general manager Ajay was also very easy to talk to and explained all the dishes patiently. Overall, great quality of food. I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon lunch buffet. The only complaint that I have is, the restaurant gets super crowded and hard to get to the buffet. So please plan around and not go during the peak lunch time. The ones that I liked particularly are TANDOORI CHICKEN: 5/5 TAWA FISH : 4/5 White chocolate berry cake: 4/5 Rasmalai: 4/5

The food is one of the better Indian food places in the city. A lot of them taste cheaper and use cheaper ingredients but this one tastes moire authentic and uses quality ingredients. However the prices here are 3x higher than other spots… he’s to pay $35 for a dish that may cost $12-$15 at another. However the food is still good and the atmosphere is very nice, also have an outdoor dining area

I must have been to the wrong Indian restaurants before bc I didn’t like any of them. But this restaurant totally changed my perceptions on Indian food. Every dish was delicious and well made. The goat, spinach salad and butter chicken were the best I have ever tried compare to other ones I had before. The restaurant decor was very elegant and the atmosphere was very warm and inclusive. we had a big group but everyone had a great time!

Great food. Service was challenging great location and atmosphere is quite noisy. (1) Food is authentic and great quality (especially the breads) (2) we went on a very busy day - the waitstaff was friendly and trying to do their best but was having challenges keeping up with the orders (3) Location is super convenient as it is close to Moscone I have been to this restaurant and love their food and will be back.

Amazing food & perfect ambience! This place can never go wrong for Indian foodies in Bay Area! I have been visiting this place since 2012 and every time visiting here is an amazing experience. The asian gal who welcomed me at the reception was funny and welcoming. Hope she remembers my food coma joke and calling ambulance after I am done eating. LOL 😂 Keep it up team Amber San Francisco! Godspeed!

Honestly this was one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. It was buffet style with bottomless mimosas, and everything, from the food to the atmosphere, to the bottomless drinks, was incredible. It was fun going a group as well!

Probably the first Indian restaurants I'm giving 5 stars to. Several of the dishes were really good. My issue of Indian restaurants dumbing down the food by reducing spices and adding sugar and color remains, but it's a relatively lesser problem at this restaurant. So if you don't get hung up on "authentic", the food is quite good and I enjoyed it. Plus it's a nice setting and our server was excellent.

Amazing place and friendly staff. We were on a holiday visiting USA and planned a staycation in Marriott near by (with BIL family who are Bay Area residents). The dinner we had was fantastic and the staffs were friendly and courteous to all guest. The awesome dinner just needed an awesome finish for that day which we accomplished by Gulab Jamoon and full moon view of Golden gate view post dinner ! Thank you and will definitely visit again in next trip to US.
