Nice little place. We were looking for a good burger to eat. They are good but nothing special. The deviled eggs are very bland. Ended up not eating them all. Mixed drinks were fantastic. Would definitely suggest stopping for a cocktail. Nice looking place and service was OK. Didn't really come around much. If in area looking for a cocktail good place. Food is basic as far as hamburgers.

I recently dined at Causwells, and I can't praise them enough. The burger was a culinary masterpiece, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The drink selection was impressive, offering the ideal complement to the meal. What truly stood out was the impeccable service – attentive, friendly, and truly enhancing the overall dining experience. Causwells deserves every bit of its 5-star rating!

Okay. It is great! I was tricked into coming here by an obnoxious TikTok that claimed she moved to sf because of the burger. In fact, it is really good. If it wasn’t for the bun it would be the best in sf and yet to be second best in a food city is a pretty huge accomplishment. Lots of cute touches to this place from the inventive deconstructed-reconstructed blue cheese martini to the cocktail picks. The staff are fun. If only this was on Divisadero.

A very delicious burger. Yes, it's absolutely over priced ($20, if you swap the side for fries it's $23). Nonetheless, it's great quality and very filling. It doesn't give you the option on the menu but the waitress let us swap fries for the side of Max & Cheese which saved us some money, Mac is really good too. We also ordered the Banana Bread Grilled Cheese for dessert and it was so amazing. Highly recommend. Overall 8.5/10 with only downside being that it's definitely overpriced.

Oooohhh so good! I actually saw this place on Tiktok and was influenced. We came in a bit randomly on a Sunday evening. We were seated inside quickly and ordered the Baycation drink which came in a coconut. 🥥😆 We started with the baby carrot appetizer which had amazing flavors with olive, pistachio and orange slices! We shared the Americana burger which they kindly cut in half for us. It was super tasty and came with two patties, perfect for two people! We had such a great time and the staff were super friendly and happy. I can’t wait to come back.

Delicious burger and onion strings! Sauces were delicious too! Recommend, but warn VERY expensive! +$2 for onion strings, +$3 for fries, as if someone prefers a side salad with their $20 cheeseburger. Additionally, 20% extra for a party of six, on top of 8% SF health taxes, is absurd! Probably a one and done when in n out exists for 20% of the price. Everything was tasty and looked good though. Service was very good and attentive overall!

Great place to eat and amazing people working here. They are really interested in the people visiting, and know a lot information. This must be the best burger of the trip.

Very cute place! A little tight in terms of the tables being close together. The drinks are fun and inventive and served in the coolest glasses. The food was really incredible. I would absolutely come back. The service was amazing. The hostess was so much fun!

Tiktok made us do it. Visited San Fran to visit family, and my goddaughter raved about something she saw on Tiktok last week. A burger joint in San Fran - supposedly home to the city's best burger and a side of fried onions. We made reservations online (highly recommended), and they had a table for us when we arrived. The server was pleasant, and we got the brunch menu. Now, we had gone to Causwells fully expecting to eat these Tiktok famous burgers. But we were pleasantly surprised to see other options for brunch that included: biscuits and gravy, a breakfast egg sandwich (apparently these are super in demand and only 22 are available a day), deviled eggs, and raw oysters. I digress. We were there for the burgers. Two options were available: the breakfast burger that included a fried egg and bacon. The americana burger that was made famous by the viral video. It comes with a side salad, fried onions, or fries. I got the salad because I don't feel bad jacking a few fries from my kids and because it allows me to thoroughly enjoy stuffing my face with the juicy, tasty burger and think I've earned it with the healthier choice. The burger was perfectly cooked. Two patties with melted cheese and perfectly thinly sliced pickles. The server brings you ketchup, a house aioli, mustard and a housemade hot sauce. Do yourself a favor and throw it all on that burger. Live a little, my friend. We also had the raw oysters and the deviled eggs. They were good- nothing to go viral about but delicious nonetheless. Now if I hadn't stuffed my face with that fat burger, I would have had room to order the banana bread grilled cheese, but my jeans were already screaming for help. Their cocktail menu looked bomb as well, but this short trip didn't allow for a super booxy Saturday afternoon so, next time we will. We met the manager and I wish we'd gotten her name. She's good people. Super friendly and struck up a conversation and learned about her interesting background. If we had the time, we would have bought her a round and chatted more. One more thing- they have outside seating on the curb area, and it's dog friendly so you can bring Fido along to help you walk off your meal.

Stopped in on a Sunday for brunch and we were seated immediately. We got what most people come here for, the burger, and wow was it delicious. Juicy, flavorful and the right combination of ingredients. Get the side of crispy onions and jam them into your burger for an extra crunchy layer of awesome. Judy the hostess was so fun to talk to and very accommodating! Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
