Came here for happy hour and thought it was pretty reasonable for usually overpriced Hayes Valley fare. We got two glasses of red wine and an order of decent (though nothing special) fries, set in a nice, clean environment with lots of screens for whatever sports game you want to follow. Service was good, which makes this overall not a bad spot for happy hour.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Close to the show and staff was considerate of our timing. I liked the food better than the drinks. Drinks were too strong/alcohol flavored for my taste. Food was awesome though. Next time I’ll have wine.

This restaurant has fantastic service and a cute ambiance. The food was good, nothing to rave about, but everything was cooked perfectly and was flavorful. The portions were quite huge, we ended up having to take some home. Nice place to visit if you’re in the mood for some classic American fare with friendly service.

Wonderful service made the evening before our ballet! Food was excellent. I liked this visit more than a recent visit to Jardiniere.

I love going to brunch here! Bottomless mimosas are inexpensive by city standards ($15 dollars or so iirc). Service is great. Food is great. I really like the atmosphere and vibe of the whole place. Good bar if you just want cocktails. One of my favorite regular spots.

Great place for a beer and a bite. Certainly worth the visit, but the prices are just a little higher than the quality would lead you to expect.

Excellent service and food. We went on a holiday so it wasn't crowded. Didn't know what to expect so we were pleasantly surprised. Had fried pumpkin as appetizer. She had the steak while I had the chicken entre. Streak was good and chicken plate was excellent. Chicken comes with sausage, sweet pepper, potatoes, all in a buttery sauce. It is a very large portion, half a chicken. She had a long Island ice tea, which was strong. All in all, with tip around $100 for two people. A bit pricier than what we normally spend on a meal, but this is downtown in a big city and the food quality matched the price.

This is a great mid-scale restaurant with an extraordinary menu and impressive drink list. I have eaten here on a couple occasions, the first was a Thursday night and was pretty busy, the second was a Monday night which was almost entirely empty. If the bar is full, the place can get pretty loud (the only reason for my missing star) but if you're lucky enough to come on a slow night the atmosphere is really nice, especially in the back room. The food is delicious and portioned well. Our server, Aaron, was very knowledgeable and helped us pair a delicious wine to the food we wanted.

Had a couple of drink at the bar before being seated. The drink menu is excellent and fresh, with just a splash of humor. The entire staff was friendly and provided excellent service all night long. The mushroom pizza was good. The flat iron steak was well cooked, a tad small and lacked some seasoning for my taste but the sauce and potatoes made up for it, since both were excellent. The donuts desert was a nice touch to end the meal. Overall a nice place i will be going back to, specially on a opera night.
