Salt & Straw

I have become one of the great disciples of salt and straw and I pray to its closest location at least 6 times a day. I was lost without salt and straw and it has shown me the light. The flavors no matter how crazy are always good if not great. The high quality ingredients give a strong backbone to the ice cream that tempers stranger and stronger ingredients like blue cheese. Everyone who I have introduced salt and straw to, has loved it and they do an excellent job of accommodating a wide range of people. Whether it be the excellent vegan options or the wide variety of flavors that can please any person whether they prefer sweet, savory, or salty flavors. My only issue with salt and straw is that the ice cream is too good. The honey lavender ice cream is so excellent, definitely one of the best ice creams that I have ever had, that I have a hard time choosing other flavors. The exception being Candycopia, a Halloween flavor, which will haunt my dreams for the rest of my life as I think about what I have lost. I struggle to think of a person who would not enjoy at least something at Salt and Straw and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone whether they are looking for new unique flavors or the classics.

Well as you can see, I clearly enjoyed this ice cream shop. They usually have at least 2 vegan options (not sorbet 😀). The main PB fudge and a few other rotating flavors. What do you call a vegan who loves peanut butter fudge ice cream? Idk I’m not good at those kind of jokes. However If you're one of these rare creatures that favors PB over chocolate like myself, you'll want to try the vegan peanut butter fudge ice cream. It's pretty good. I’m sure they put double sugar and triple fat to have it taste so creamy. 😅 $$$ pricey Near a bus stop so some squatters are usually near by. The ice cream though 😘.

Amazing selection of unique ice creams. Vegan options are also available along with rare limited edition flavours. Lovely ice cream place, rich and smooth flavours. Would definitely come back again! They also have the ability to do split ice cream which is where for a small price you get two half scoops of two different flavours.

This was our first time at Salt and Straw and we got the Salted, Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Honey Lavendar and the Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies & Cream which was vegan. All the flavours were amazing and you can tell that they were made with quality ingredients. We both got a single split scoop which was more than enough - the portions are huge. Can't wait to come back and try the other flavours. Definitely recommend!
