A San Francisco icon! Went for a Christmas lunch and it was quite expensive, but great food and service and the room is among the most ornate in SF.

The Palace Hotel is beautiful on the inside we went for the holiday tea. The only complaint we had was with the server he didn't ask if we wanted any water which I did or if we wAnted more champ6 and didn't come back to our table unless we flaggdd him down.

We had rhe buffet breakfast included as part of our stay at the hotel. It was good. Nothing stood out as particularly good or bad. As otheds have stated the price point is high. The overall impression is this was really amazing and beautiful 25-50 years ago. Most the so called 5 star resorts are old. Most these spots don't reinvest and so you end up with an outdated spot.

Didn’t get high off their high tea so 4 stars only. I’m just kidding with y’all. This is great for an one time thing. The view was nothing short of extravagant. We’re talking chandeliers, marble pillars, lady playing the harp, tea, and pastries. Saw a lot of people dress up too. 110% an IG worthy spot. Giving this 4 stars because the overall experience cost us $105 a person before tax and tip. It’s really steep. Prices been going up but can’t say the same about the amount and quality of food and service. Not really my kind of scene. Wouldn’t be here at all, but it was a double date. If you do come here, I recommend their legacy tea and flowery earl grey.

I ordered avocado toast for breakfast. It was delicious. The price was cheaper than continental breakfast buffet but the dish seems better than the buffet.

Great breakfast buffet in a gorgeous space in the heart of the Palace Hotel. We stayed over the weekend and breakfast was served buffet style, there were several food stations, lots of options and everything was delicious. Service was great too and the atmosphere couldn't be better while you eat surrounded by the classic architecture of the hotel building.

Great English Tea American style on Saturdays. A bit pricey but wonderful atmosphere, good service, and tasty treats.

A popular place for an afternoon tea gathering with girl friends. We love the ambience, and the tea. I like their rooibos tea, so flavorful!! They have good varieties of savory sandwiches (5) and desserts (7). I wasn't able to finish all my food; had to bring home 3 desserts. I would think more salty than sweet would be best for this afternoon.

Service was amazing and prompt. The sandwiches and pastries were delicious, and the teas were so flavorful. Price is high. We paid $90 per person, but to us, it was worth it since we were celebrating a special occasion.

I was there for lunch during the holiday. The Garden Court had holiday decorations throughout and a splendid Christmas tree under their chandeliers and glass ceiling they're famous for! It's no doubt a wonderful place to dine in for lunch or high tea. I think the prices for prefix lunch and high tea are reasonable comparing to other high ends restaurants inside 5 stars hotels.
