Visited again with a friend after many years away, and enjoyed this experience the most out of all my visits! We had so much fun talking with Chef Harrison, his team, and everyone on staff. Dinner was so much more delightful hearing their stories between courses, and of course, delicious as always. Highlights for me include the way evergreens and sorrel were presented through the drinks and courses - my friend commented after trying my green apple / douglas fir juice that the evergreen scent was perfectly balanced. I really enjoyed the scallop paired with sorrel studded cheese on flatbread, as well as the chanterelles. My favorite presentation was the perfectly cut turnip slices in one of the snack bites, and the off center plating of the venison on the large white plate you could paint by eating. We had siphon coffee made tableside to finish the meal after dessert and it was so fun to see it made! Thanks Sons & Daughters team for another amazing meal, and hope to be back next year.
I went to Sons & Daughters with my wife for our wedding anniversary. I highly recommend this place and it was good value relative to money spent for the amount of food we had and the incredible wine paring that went with our meals. Everyone was knowledgeable with the ingredients and method used to cook the food. Education and being informed was a part of the overall experience. It’s a cozy restaurants with only 10 tables inside. Felt like I was at a darkened lounge atmosphere wise and the windows facing the street are see through from the inside and reflective on the outside. The flavors of regular ingredients - albeit incredibly fresh - were enhanced exponentially by the chefs. All in all, a great experience provided by the staff and out of this world flavors by the chefs.
Literally got a reservation 45min prior to service on the same day so that was a nice surprise. We had a good time, great service, with a large variety of small bites throughout the night. Just the right amount of food, not too much or too little. A little disappointed there are no cocktails but good wine menu. We would come again.
Personalized and great service. The dishes are such art, the food is so fun to discover - taste, colour, texture! We had a wonderful time. The wine choices were terrific.

My dining experience at Sons & Daughters was really unforgettable! My friend surprised me with this gem, and it turned out to be one of the best tasting experiences I've ever had.
The place had an awesome vibe that mixed luxury and coziness. The chef, sommelier, and other kitchen members were so knowledgeable, friendly, and well-trained.
The food was pure perfection. Every dish was a work of art with stunning presentation. The flavors were on point, creating this amazing blend of tastes. My top five favorites are:
- Caviar d'Aquitane Perlita with leeks and buttermilk,
- the killer Multigrain sourdough bread with cultured butter and pickles,
- the perfectly grilled scallop with browned butter and roasted potatoes,
- super refreshing Fermented blueberry with elderflower sorbet,
- and the tangy Rhubarb with pineapple weed ice cream. Pure bliss!
The wine pairings were spot-on too. Each glass was carefully chosen to enhance the flavors and bring out the best in the food.
We also got a custom-printed menu as a keepsake. Such a cool touch!
Sons & Daughters definitely nailed it. The combination of exceptional food, impeccable service, and attention to detail left a lasting impression. I cannot wait to visit it again!
This was an incredible experience. I tried things that I never knew could be that good (asparagus, buckwheat sprouts, turnips). I was not disappointed with anything!

The complete tasting menu was scrumptious and attractively plated; each course was matched with the perfect beverage pairing. The hostess and servers were incredibly attentive, ensuring that our every need was met in a highly professional and carefully coordinated manner. It was lovely meeting the chefs at our table and hearing of all the inspiration, creativity, and ethically-sourced ingredients curated behind every dish.
The team took the time to congratulate us and added personal touches throughout the night that really made us feel valued. Divine experience through and through - definitely one of the best Michelin tasting experiences in the Bay Area!
My husband was skeptical when I described the cuisine, but he loved every bite! The service was excellent and they answered all our questions. The wine was amazing and we loved the attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this place to others looking to try new and innovative flavors.
Walk into this understated, mostly somber coloring restaurant and be dazzled by their extraordinary fine cuisine. The amuse gueule was a burst of flavors. The French caviar with asparagus emulsion was out of this world. Each dish was executed and presented precisely and perfectly. We were so impressed with the kitchen staff's choreography seamlessly presenting incredibly delicious dishes until we were so satisfied. The entire experience was fantastic. I'd highly recommend.
I just had dinner at Sons & Daughters. It was an amazing and wonderful experience and dinner. It was for a special occasion and I enjoyed every second of the 2.5 hours of the evening and every bite. The food is delicious and beautiful. It is prepared with care and love. Each dish is gorgeous, you want to really look at it for its beauty before you eat it and it disappears. You can tell that everyone who works here loves what they do. It shows. First class food and service. It is a very special experience. Treat yourself. It is a fantastic meal from the beginning to the end. I felt pampered. I will remember this as an experience of a lifetime.
