My chicken Ceasar salad was good and everyone that I was with loved their meal.
Their service is top notch. When things got busy they hustled and were professional.
I loved the atmosphere because they spoke Italian when naming off orders and while communicating, I thought that was cool. The ceilings have murals reminiscent of old cathedrals.

We were seated quickly and we ordered calamari and mussels in white wine sauce and the salmon with asparagus. It was all really good. Salmon was a bit over cooked but none the less decent service good food

Mona Lisa restaurant was a lovely experience. I was a solo diner here on a Friday night. I was greeted with a genuine (like seriously warm!) smile when I walked in the door. Professional smiles are appreciated but this made me feel like they were genuinely happy I walked in, which was so nice! It's clear they exemplify the Italian hospitality the country is known for.
The restaurant was packed but I was seated immediately. It was so cool to walk by the kitchen and hear the staff speaking in Italian together! Very lively!
The ambiance was very unique. Lots of colorful art replicas on the walls, photos, very eclectic opulent if that was a thing. The food was excellent. The tirimasu was some of the best I've had. When I walked out quietly at the end of my meal (it's easy to slip out when dining alone), I was sent off with warm wishes (in Italian) from the wait staff and even from a cook in the kitchen. I have been to Italy, and if you asked me to imagine how San Francisco would do a damn good Italian restaurant - what I imagined wouldn't be as perfect as this!
I loved my experience here!

Carpaccio was excellent, soup was very good, GF Pasta was OK. Not the best Pasta Manufacturer and slightly overcooked

Great restaurant in the Little Italy neighborhood of San Francisco. It was the last stop on our Chinatown Little Italy food tour. And our tour guide even arranged to have arrincini extra in our meals. Great pizza is part of the meal and a glass of wine or soft drink. The neighborhood is really eclectic and exciting and fun to be in and just to hang out there. There's several Mona Lisa restaurants that are affiliated ones more fine dining and the others has artisan Pizza and other dishes. They're within a block of each other. Great service too!

Good service! Great ceasar salad! Good lasagna! Good tiramisu!
Carbonara was okay, I didn't like the bacon. I prefer my bacon to be cooked longer.

This place is the best spot you can go to in sf! One of the few places where literally everything on the menu is great. I drive here from Hayward at least twice a month for dinner because I want to be guaranteed a great experience

A good place to have good Italian food. Their portion sizes are good for one person. Had arancini, ravioli porcini and pizza Napolitano for 4 people, it was very filling. Ravioli was really good and everyone loved it, I would recommend that. They have an extensive collection of wine, worth a try!
