Excellent food, esp. the Fr. onion soup!, fantastic service, owner-operated, neighborhood gem - I am there approximately 3x a week, and have been a customer for decades now

Went to this place to try out something new for restaurant week. The food was simple but very good and I enjoyed the down home vibe. Planning to go back with my niece and nephew as they had a $12 prix fixe kids menu that looked tasty. For now, I recommend the salmon and the bread pudding.

Decided to get breakfast around San Francisco & by far was the best option , they aren’t open on sundays but today they were, calling to reserve a table of 7 people was so smooth no complications when doing so and the wait time was about 14 minutes. Besides getting a table there the interior was rather a small space but they make it work making sure the customer has enough room to eat and enjoy their time. Their menu had rather multiple options today we went with the huevos rancheros and an order of French toast. The eggs were very delicious but be aware the tortillas are actually apart of the dish and added below the eggs. The French toast were beautifully displayed as many have said but the taste of them are actually incredible! The toast is definitely more on the smaller portion but very filling. Overall the employees were all very friendly despite the rush hour.

The place looks pretty simple, but it is a good brunch spot! The prices are decent and the serving size is huge. I had the Salmon Omelette. I was happy with the amount of salmon in it. The potatoes were really well seasoned too!

That small local gem on the Pacific Heights fabric, with cozy French ambience perceived through the interior, music, visitors, and how Olivier, the owner, treats you, have made me feel a precious guest there for several years. The menu is quite diverse in meals to take and noble wines to enjoy. I tasted almost all dishes there. Those that I liked most include: French onion soup with French bread (it is something), Cobb, French pear salads, salmon/tuna fillet (chef Francisco's way to cook them is outstanding), delicious Fillet Mignon and NY steak, mouthwatering shrimp and scallop scampi, roasted half a chicken and chicken curry. I often take Eggs Benedict with saumon, crab, avocado, etc, and omelettes, huevos rancheros for breakfast or brunch, too. Whether you've ordered lunch or the main course, try the dessert options: French toast (I like with banana or berries), bread pudding or chocolate mousse, and don't forget to ask for their signature cheesecake or charming champagne sobayon - you will never regret. And high quality French wine completes the whole picture. What I also like is that even if I keep ordering the same favourite dish, chef Francisco often magically makes the familiar meals shine in the new light and taste. Curbside has become my favourite place in this gastronomic district.

This restaurant is the hidden gem in the Fillmore district. Yes, it’s small but everything on the menu is to die for. Authentic French cuisine designed and perfected by Olivier who provides excellent service. If you haven’t been here you have no idea what you’re missing. I love this place!
