Pretty standard quality of food compared to other IHOPs around. Service is prompt and efficient. Crowded compared to other restaurants in the area. Always enjoy the sirloin tips with eggs and hash browns. Pancakes are soft and fluffy but always wish they would serve them a little later so they are still warm after eating the main course.
I have to say I LOVE IHOP when it’s good. Typically my experiences have been okay, but this was not typical. I went to this IHOP three times while on my trip to San Francisco. Each time I had great service, great food, and enjoyed each meal immensely.
The restaurant was also very clean. Working in restaurants my whole life I understand what happens when things are not clean. If the standards are bad in the bathrooms or dining room the same standards are usually the same in the kitchen. Everything was spotless.
Whatever this location is doing for it’s staff please keep it up because this was a great place to eat some yummy comfort food.
I also want to add that I felt 100% safe. The news makes San Francisco sound like a horrible place, but I was here two weeks and never felt unsafe.
Thanks for listening and if you’re visiting this is a nice place for those of us who need a chain restaurant experience every once in awhile. :)
Food was great. Turkey sandwich was huge. BLT was medium serve. Both were on 55+ menu, only $10.79 each.
Hubby had a burger, friend had pancake 3 stack.
All enjoyed our meals
A typical diner where you are able to have breakfast-type food all day. It was pretty empty at the Fisherman’s Wharf branch. Service crew was very sweet and attentive who checks in once in a while.
This place is fab. Will literally have something on the menu for everyone. The staff are friendly and we were seated straight away. The coffee was delicious too. I had the cheesecake pancakes, I wasn’t overly impressed to be fair, the cheesecake bites were apparently in the pancake batter which was disappointing as you couldn’t taste them, and the pancakes were a little dry( I had to pour some syrup on to them) but my other halves french toast was lovely. Covered in strawberries and sauce. The prices for San Francisco didn’t seem too expensive either given we had paid 50$ at Denny’s the day before. Overall I would definitely go again to any ihop.
Customer service was outstanding, and I had a great lunch there. The interior was really well-kept and clean. Ihop never lets me down; I'll be back.
I would recommend the hot chocolate.
Very delicious!
The taste is not too sweet, just right!
It is a big cup and also refillable.
Definitely worth the price which is about $4-$6 range.
chain restaurant with excellent pancakes, waffles and English biscuits.
they open at 6 so is great for early people like me
Update pancakes that are made with almond flour. The pancakes dont taste fluffy not chefs fault its not there recipe. I got blueberry pancakes. My friend had a burger we were on a date. The server gave me coffee refills he was kind. Time to update decor for more modern feel to draw a crowd of teenagers or adults. Modern paint job not childish design not 1955 bar stool tables.
We had an amazing experience! Our waiter, Roberto was the absolute nicest server ever. The food was delicious, specially the pancakes, really really good. The portions were good and I thought the prize was pretty adequate. I would absolutely go back!
