I was lookong for a quick snack along the pier. As I walked by I saw how this team was interacting with clients. So I stopped in for a glass of delicious wine and a salumi plate. Very friendly people. Good vibe. Good price. not from here, but i would definately stop in again!. Worth the stop.

We went to try the two flights of wine. Wide variety of bodies and flavor. Also got the Salumi & Cheese Combo. That was okay. Cheese very good.

The Ferry Building has so many cool spots, but this is my favorite because you can always walk in... hop onto the large bar, grab a glass, bottle, or flight of some high-end wine and just enjoy the people-watching. The staff is a stand out as they are all very knowledgeable about all the wines but super friendly also.

Staff was super friendly. A great place to come unwind after work. We had a platter with Brie cheese, some burrata with prosciutto, assorted salumi plate. There are places to sit at the bar or they have some tables as well.

The bar has a super nice trash can. The table is located inside the ferry terminal, along the central aisle. Good home. The amount of glass wine is impressive and the quality is very high. You can eat 1 plate of cold meat or cheese (1 local number!). They also serve beer. Frankly, the super lunch break. On the other hand, it is expensive but considering the place and quality...

Couple of beers and an amazing selection of Cheese with a baguette. This place is a lovely stop after a busy day. Beers and wines from around the region and the world if required, the cheese was out of this world, in particular the goats cheese. The cheese we chose was the Special Cheese Combo with marinated olives and mushrooms and a fig chutney. Chris served us and offered excellent service.

Cute wine tasting spot in the historic San Francisco Ferry Building! They offer various tasting flights as well as wines by the glass, carafe and bottle. Good selection and nice atmosphere, worth a visit if you’re in the area!

A wine bar that combines some of the best eats at the Ferry Plaza... I don't think I could ask for more than Cowgirl Creamery's Mt. Tam, cured meat from Boccalone and Prather Ranch; satisfyingly complete with a glass of wine ... or two. This adorable little liquor shop includes a bar and just a few high-top tables for patrons to enjoy drinks and relax. $31.75 Italian Salumi & Cowgirl Cheese Combo - 5 oz. half round of Mt. Tam, Prather Ranch Soppressata, Boccalone Lonza, Prather Ranch Country Ham, w/ Boccalone whole grain mustard, olive mix, Acme Epi baguette, McQuade's Celtic Fig & Ginger Chutney: My friend and I shared this platter along with a couple glasses of white and red. I don't remember which wines we had, but they were delicious. It's been a while since I've had Mt. Tam triple-cream cheese. It is just as smooth and buttery as I remember. The Acme epi is one of my favorite breads as well. It really is an excellent combination. The soppressata had a chewier texture, while the lonza was more delicate, and the country ham was sliced super thin. The fig and chutney were nice accoutrements, but I usually don't feel the need to add on. The bread, cheese, and meat are already so good together. I'm sure I'll be back to enjoy more wine in the future. Perhaps next time I'll try the burrata as well.

I am not a wine drinker and so can't speak to the quality of the wines other than I enjoyed my glass. They have a wide selection of not only wines but beers too. The staff were attentive and were more than happy to suggest a wine for me. We sat and enjoyed some of the charcuterie while chatting away. It's not cheap but it's certainly a lovely way to spend an afternoon. They even have phone chargers so you can power up while you're winding down.

The Wine Merchant is located in the main passage of the Ferry building. We had a large platter of prosciutto and burrata cheese with tasty hard torpedo-type rolls and a carafe of the 2020 Castell Silvaner wine from the German area of Franconia. The waitress was great and gave us each a glass of Italian bubbly on the house at the end of our visit. All in all, it was a pleasant lunch experience.
