#PierMarketSeafoodRestaurant is a lovely restaurant on Pier 39 in San Francisco. They source local, and sustainable seafood. Upon entering We were promptly seated near a window so we could look out on the pier, water, and sunny day. Beverages started with a #MissionMargarita for me made with Tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice and organic agave nectar, shaken. I opted to make it a double, 23 oz. It was very good, a lovely compliment to the luscious savory food we had. My husband opted for the #CableCar Cocktail Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, triple sec and sweet ‘n sour, shaken and served in a sugar rimmed glass. He really enjoyed it. The food service started with lovely sourdough rolls with sweet cream butter, how can you not have sourdough while visiting San Francisco. We then ordered #GarlicSourdoughBread to enjoy with our Main dishes. The bread was brushed with ample butter and lots of garlic. No skimping on the garlic, which we appreciated. The bread went very well with my bowl of #NewEnglandClamChowder Voted the best on Fisherman's Wharf. The Chowder contains bacon which I love. The chowder was most excellent and glad I just ordered the bowl as it was very filling. My husband opted for the special of Cajun beer battered #FriedSalmon served with a creamy coleslaw, and yummy #GarlicFries made with lots of fresh Garlic. Instead of the usual tartar sauce the salmon was served with a very flavorful garlic Aioli. Of course We are close to the Garlic Growing Capitol of Gilroy California. The salmon was wonderful and sourced from a sustainable farm in Washington. It was my husbands first time having deep fried battered Salmon and he loved the PNW staple. The service was friendly and informative. Our server asked the kitchen if he didn’t know right off the answers and gave good advice, especially with our cocktails. Overall we had hearty and delicious fare, in a beautiful setting, and with attentive service. The prices were reasonable, and appropriate. I would visit Pier Market Seafood Restaurant again. #pier39sanfrancisco

Love everything. Location was good. Food was amazing! They don't have a great view compared to other nice ones around but I don't care much about that. Bartender was very nice and kind. Definitely recommend and I will visit again.

This was one of our favorite places that we ate at while visiting San Francisco. The quality of the food was outstanding and that showed through in the flavor. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We got the Fried Calamari and a cup of the Clam Chowder to share. My husband ordered the Shrimp Combo (forgot the name of the dish) which had Shrimp Scampi, Grilled Shrimp, and Butterflied Fried Shrimp with french fries and mashed potatoes. I ordered the Grilled Salmon with a Lobster Tail that came with garlic red potatoes and a vegetable medley.

What a great restaurant! The waiter was really polite and patient gentleman, service was fast and well taken care of. The food was so fresh and tasty, and it came really fast, considering it was a lunchtime . Prices are very reasonable. Great choice of fresh seafood and other dishes. I would definitely recommend you try this place, and I would come and eat here again!

The food was delicious. My mom got the salmon burger and salad and I got the crab crabs starter plate. The salmon burger was so good. And the crab cakes were great too. Everything was well cooked and flavorful. I also got the pomegranate margarita. It was okay. Nothing great but definitely drinkable. Would recommend and come back for sure! Also our waiter Ivan was so nice and had great energy!

Food was pretty good, although the oysters were quite small. I had the linguine pasta which was very filling and tasty! However, if you want to go for some nice oysters, a real oyster bar will serve you better. That being said, our server was very friendly and helpful and made our experience very enjoyable!

Went to this restaurant for seafood lunch. We were seated away from the main restaurant in a quieter section facing the small boat harbor. The service was great, friendly waiter with prompt service. We ordered the clam chowder bowl as starter and fisherman plate for mains. Main course arrived before we had chance to finish starter. Food was of a good standard and quality. Not exceptional but good. What you can expect from a busy tourist area seafood restaurant.

So far the best fried calamari I’ve ever had. Crunchy but soft and not oily at all. The garlic bread is very tasty but a little oily. Claw chowder on sourdough bread is the sensation around San Francisco and it can be found every corner of the city but my choice was at the Pier Market and no regrets. It was very good option to a chill evening. Oh, not forgetting to mention the good wine selection. If you get a window seat you’ll be able to watch the Sea Lions 🦭

Our group of 5 arrived late in the evening and were greeted with kind and knowledgeable staff. We had a short wait to be seated, which also offered indoor and outdoor seating. It is located in the middle of Pier 39 with a nice view of the Bay. Food was great, everything to order and piping hot. Several of our party ordered bar drinks and said they were great. I recommend the fish and chips!
