A delicious fun snack while shopping...and sitting at the bar with a bottle of bubbles....bartender Gabriel is the bomb!

We were doing some Christmas shopping and wanted a bit to eat.
Brunch Vybz was amazing.
I recommend booking a reservation in advance cause there is a 45-minute wait if you walk in.
Food and services were top-class.
They changed a few things to accommodate us, which was a plus in my book.
Love the atmosphere.

We went for the Tea Service and for two people we paid $138 (20% gratuity included).
I have two comments for the people running the place (some will say I'm too picky but it is what it is): table cloth were not properly ironed, is like their ironed while it was folded. The food was nice and we enjoyed it but why would you repeat lemon curd and a little lemon pie. It was a much better idea to have another salty thing for the base of the tea service (just a thought). Also it wouldn't hurt to have a couple of more tea options? They only had Earl Grey, Chamomile and Mint (a 4th one I don't remember).

What a beautiful place to enjoy your afternoon~
They offer afternoon tea with the option to supplement brut if you’re in a mood for some fizzy. Everything tasted great: except for perhaps the petite blueberry cheesecake.
We especially enjoyed the smoked salmon with caviar and the cucumber sandwich - wish there were more of those!
Adding celery to chicken salad filling in the croissant was also genius~ the refreshing crunch helped to elevate your appetite halfway through the meal.
Scones were a bit tough but for American fast paced large scale restaurant afternoon tea, I shan’t complain. They still tasted great!!
The teas were also amazing!! We got the most popular choices which were the green tea that has amazing tropical fruity notes, and the black tea that is earthy, medium strength with great lingering finish.
I’d say tho the complementary popovers definitely need a bit of work… I was expecting texture and flavours to match a Yorkshire pudding - since they are basically the same thing - but Rotunda’s lack flavour, it felt like eating cardboard.
Nonetheless, we will be returning to this beautiful establishment! What a treat!!

Beautiful view of Union square. Place is tight maybe dangerous for kids. Don’t bring kids.
Food is great! But definitely over priced!! But I guess you’re really paying for the view. Service is okay. A bit snobby but they did a work job done.
Overall, only do it for social media flex. Kidding special events.
Ps, chair wobbly for a high elevated tea place.

My cousin and I wanted to celebrate our birthdays together and we decided on afternoon tea at the Rotunda. I made the reservation online about 3 weeks in advance. Super easy and seamless. We got there 10 minutes early and waited til our reservation at 2PM. Great service plus we both got our own mini cakes after the tea. Would love to bring my parents next time.

A lunch in The Rotunda Restaurant under the dome of Nieman Marcus San Francisco is a real delight. My friend and I were not particularly hungry so soup and the restaurant's terrific popovers satisfied us. The wait staff was terrific and the atmosphere is charming.

Elegant, good quality high tea at Neiman Marcus. Good variety of sandwiches, sweets and scones. Plenty of food to fill you up. 4 or 5 choices of teas to choose from. Great views of union square. A tad on the slow side on service but pretty friendly staff. Price is righ on with other high teas. The only thing that bothered my is that they automatically add 20 percent tip to your ticket. Overall, a good high tea experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Rotunda Restaurant in San Francisco, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a sophisticated and elegant ambiance that perfectly complemented the delectable menu offerings.
To start my culinary adventure, I decided to indulge in the classic Aperol Spritz. The refreshing blend of Aperol, sparkling wine, and a hint of citrus was the ideal way to awaken my palate and set the tone for the rest of the meal. It was a delightful and well-crafted cocktail that left me craving for more.
Next up was the Lobster Bisque, and it was a true masterpiece. The rich and creamy texture combined with the luscious flavors of the lobster created a soup that was both comforting and indulgent. Each spoonful was a delight, showcasing the chef's expertise and dedication to culinary excellence.
The Tuna Tartare was another highlight of the meal. The vibrant colors and fresh flavors of the dish immediately caught my attention. The tuna was beautifully diced and paired with a medley of complementary ingredients, resulting in a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. It was a true testament to the restaurant's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients.
As a seafood lover, I couldn't resist trying the Lobster Risotto, and it did not disappoint. The risotto was perfectly cooked, with each grain retaining a delightful bite. The tender chunks of lobster were generously portioned throughout the dish, infusing it with a decadent and savory flavor. It was a true feast for the senses that left me completely satisfied.
The attentive and friendly staff at the Rotunda Restaurant also added to the overall experience. Their knowledge of the menu and genuine passion for ensuring guests' satisfaction was evident in their exceptional service.
While my dining experience at the Rotunda Restaurant was undoubtedly exceptional, I feel compelled to withhold the final star due to a slight delay in the service during peak hours. Nonetheless, this minor setback did not overshadow the overall quality of the food, ambiance, and service.
In conclusion, the Rotunda Restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience that showcases the best of San Francisco's culinary scene. From the enticing Aperol Spritz to the sumptuous Lobster Bisque, Tuna Tartare, and Lobster Risotto, each dish was crafted with precision and care. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a memorable and indulgent dining experience.
Bon appétit!

The Rotunda is an experience! We went here for birthday lunch, and were in awe of the elegant interiors. The stained glass dome along with golden embellishments on tall white pillers, makes this place perfect to celebrate special occasions. I requested to be seated at a window while making reservations, and it was duly noted by the staff. Our view overlooking Union Square on a chilly rainy afternoon (we love trains) set the tone for a perfect intimate romantic celebration. They served soup of the day and the fluffiest cloud-like bread I've ever had, a must try indeed. For starters, we split the Cesar salad with shrimps, good quantity and good taste. For main course we had the striped bass and grilled chicken. The bass was very good; the combo of peas and asparagus, lightly soaked in their special sauce, added to the taste of the fish. The chicken was ok, slightly dry, but the adornments it was served with made up for the dryness. Our server was very polite and attentive to our requests and selections. We will certainly be going back here for their elegant afternoon tea spread.
