Perfect crisp. Great surroundings. They buttet their sourdough bread from both sides, use high quality local cheese and you can feel it in every bite. Crispy and fluffy, simple and soooo good

Our first time in the Ferry Building. We both got grilled cheese and tomato soups. Friendly staff, not a long wait for food, and we were lucky enough to snag a few seats in front so we can sit and eat. The food was great, bread was the perfect amount of crunchy but not burned. Cheese was really good.

Our second stop at the Ferry Building was for some grilled cheese.
We went with their special of the day which was a butternut squash grilled cheese. It was phenomenal as were the pickles that came with it.
The cheese was soft and gooey with great flavor. It came with several types of cheeses on it.
Luckily they have a few seats and we were able to snag one to enjoy our sandwich.
If you love grilled cheese, this place is for you!

The grilled cheese was excellent! Definitely worth the bit of a wait as they make everything fresh. They get their bread from the Acme bread company so you know that's gonna be good. The pickles were excellent as well. Definitely try this place out if you're a grilled cheese fan!

This has got to be one of the best grilled cheese i have ever eaten in my life. I got their grilled cheese of the day with turkey and it is amazing. They have their artisan cheese shop right beside and they source their ingredients locally in the farmers market. Great service, amazing food, will definitely come back here again.

Love their grilled cheese sandwiches. Sometimes the bread can seem a little dry, but the other ingredients more than make up for it. They change the ingredients weekly so I never get bored of it. Good for a quick bite to eat. A little expensive, but so is everything in the Ferry Building.

Always crowded, especially on weekends and holidays. But it is a great place to eat something like pasta, salad or sandwich. It offers several vegetarian options. There is not much place to sit, you have a counter with some benches.
