Limited menu but the food is amazing! Everything including the drinks were done to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting San Francisco.

Both dishes we tried were great! All the seafood was cooked just right. The only regret we had was that we couldn't try more dishes and sweets here as we were too full from all day eating in SF.

Had an amazing weekend dinner for a birthday celebration here. The food and atmosphere was fantastic. The seafood was FRESH given it was basically a farm to table meal. Had yummy mussels, oyster shooters, and a fried combo to taste all the different flavors of the bay! The drinks were curious and some really amazing complex options to pair with the food as well. Wine menu was perfect and all of this was definitely less than I thought I would spend for such quality food. Highly recommend this gem! 💎

Had a meal here whilst visiting San Francisco as we were told ‘it’s where the locals eat’. The location isn’t very scenic, it’s nestled down a road surrounded by industrial space for the fishing industry on the docks. Inside it’s rustic with wood panelling but surprisingly large. The waiters are generally older me and you get the vibe this is quite a ‘historical’ place. The service is good and my family of 5 ate really well. The food was great and I enjoyed the Seafood Mixed Grill. My 10 y/o loved the mussels marina too. I’d recommend this place but expect to pay top prices e.g $45 for the seafood grill.

Wonderful food and old seafood house experience. Hidden gem in the wharf! If you have time to go, I highly recommend it! Had the king salmon, and it was cooked to perfection! The harbor views complete the setting nicely! 👌

The ☆BEST☆ wild & fresh seafood in San Francisco, paired with top-shelf pasta, salad, bread, wines and cocktails - the 1965 vibe is so strong you get fresh-grated Parmesan on it - And ask for the Tiramisu for dessert with an espresso! Enjoy your meal, and the view on the water - need more bread? Just ask - I'll be back for another Negroni at the bar

We showed up for dinner without reservations on a Saturday night at 5:30 during Fleet Week. We were told the wait would be an hour and 10 minutes. Three minutes later two spots opened at the bar, so we dined there. Frances was our bartender and he was fantastic. So personable and attentive despite how busy he was. The food was very good. I had crab cakes and the roasted beet salad. My husband had the black cod. Th best salad had a wide mix of flavors and the crab cakes were delectable. The scenery off the pier after dinner was gorgeous.

We love Scoma- the seafood is excellent and the service is top notch. We had the mixed Grill and the shellfish Seafood Sauté. Each was amazing. If you like shellfish- you can’t go wrong with the Sauté - if chunks of crab, shrimp and scallop in a wonderful light sauce. For the fish lovers, the mixed grill had nice size portions of Salmon, Black Cod and Halibut. The veggies are perfect. We didn’t have room for dessert or appetizers but it was fantastic.

You feel the age and you pay the reputation. The seafood products were terrific (best shrimps I've eaten for a long time), but the cooking was basic, for instance shrimp salads are...a few shrimps on top of a raw supermarket-like lettuce.

Our first night in San Francisco, we wanted to be spoiled and have some fresh fish, Scoma's delivered on both counts. Hostess was sweet and got us in rather quickly and our server Han was energetic and knowledgeable about menu. Han made some excellent recommendations and confirmed our selections as great choices. Definitely an excellent dining experience so don't miss out, see for yourself!
