The pastries are definitely very good and well made and I could tell they were made that same day. As good as the pastries are, the coffee is better. I was really impressed by the coffee. They also sell chocolate which is what they are known for.

Divine hot chocolate! If you are hot chocolate/ cocoa fan, you have to make a stop here. Dandelion has rich, velvety and delicious hot chocolate. I have tried almost all their drinks. If you are trying this place for first time, I would recommend their house hot chocolate. Their mission chocolate equally delicious but it’s a bit spicy, so not for everyone. Their European drinking chocolate is delectable beyond description. If you are a hardcore fan of chocolate, you should try this out. It’s more thicker and more velvety than the hot chocolate. It comes in two sizes. They sell desserts and chocolate which are definitely worth trying too. Additionally, they also sell Ritual coffee, it’s one of my favorite coffees in San Francisco.

Great place for chocolate - hot, cold to drink or in any form to take away. Try it. I had the European Drinking Chocolate - twice ;-), because it was I good. It is creamy, rich, dark, not too sweet - delicious!

Best hot chocolate ever. And best frozen hot chocolate (tasty oxymoron) I've ever had. Well actually it's the only frozen hot chocolate I've ever had. But it won't be the last. Delightful little shop. That is basically an outlet of a larger chocolate factory in town. It it offers a wide range of chocolate goodies. I bought a couple of bars from Costa Rica and Uganda and was actually surprised that Ugandan and chocolate was pretty good. My Ugandan son-in-law was equally shocked. This is a cute place to go out for an after dinner date or conversation with "that special someone". They have a couple of different options for seating inside and outside. Inside they also offer tastes of a few of their selections. If you go to the counter they have a taste of pastry like options. I didn't try those but that's also where you get the hot or frozen hot chocolate. It was rich and delicious. We got one of each and debated which one was better. Good news is you're covered winter or summer. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Big smiles and lots of suggestions and explanations. Some of the seating is family style so you might end up making new friends. Interesting little destination in the mission district. Highly recommended.

Very delicious hot chocolates and decadent desserts. We tried the european style and the house special. The European style is just melted chocolate and it is super decadent, the latter is more my style. Smooth drinking and lighter. Desserts were nice. In the future I would not do hot chocolate and dessert together. I’d do either one at a time because it was just too much! 😅 Lovely spot though. They have a retail line also. I would definitely recommend.

really nice environment, mission mocha is very spicy and espresso was overpowered by the spice and chocolate. not too sweet, and not too thick either. lots of chocolate bars too with different notes, very awesome.

I came here with some friends and we ordered a brownie bite flight, european drinking chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, and a brownie covered in sprinkles. It was incredibly tasty but the european drinking chocolate is definitely an acquired taste. It does not taste like the american version which was a complete shock to me.

This is a fun experience. All the different chocolate from different countries with very different flavor profile. They also do some fun baked or liquid options with chocolate. Last minute decided to get a cold hot chocolate... so good. Very rich and to much fit my wife, but I enjoyed it fully. Bought some bars as well, that was a good decision, and I think $10 for a bar isn't a bad deal.

Amazing quality chocolate drinks, pastries, and bars. Service is spectacular, always happy to answer questions about the chocolate and the factory. The chocolate variety is immense, the notes of each chocolate ranges from floral to coffee.

The chocolate milk made with oats milk is very good. I am not an oats person but still loved it. The drinking hot chocolate which is supposedly made with dark chocolate drink has become too sweet for my taste buds. The Graham's were very good. The brownie bites are also good. The chocolate slab is also good if one has a good sweet tooth. Highly recommend place for chocolate enthusiasts.
